- He doesn't know who is his father because I asked ifit was that man, the woodcutter but he replied to my Pc : "how can I know? My mom was a prostitue"
- He like dalish glove because his mother was one, that's why he liked when I offered him dalish glve, telling me that it make him remebers his mother who was dalish and had some gloves.
- Zévran consider himself as an Anitvan because he was born at Antiva.
@Bioware : well, it was unexpected death O_o"

Is there not a codex entry for Maric? I see that there isn't -- I thought there was.
If you're truly curious, Maric was lost at sea. Nothing more glamorous than that. Sometimes people simply die.
Was he looking for something? On a trip to Orlais to visit the Empress maybe, or coming back to Ferelden, Maybe someone assasinated him on board...
lol. Or not.

If that's Alistair's mother, then he's a half-elf... yet has no elven features whatsoever?
Nah.
No, elven and human children are born human, Maric observes his and Fiona's son has round ears and looks a lot like Cailan.
Elven genes are adaptive. Half-elves look very human, but there are subtle differences. I'm not surpised that a half-elf baby looks completely human as babies all tend to be fat and round.

"One, Two, Maric's run through
Three, Four, Kingdom's at war"

I'm not sure what that's referring to, sorry. Certainly Maric's death didn't send the kingdom to war, either.HavardTheAegis wrote...
Much obliged, good sir. Care to explain the Orphanage quote? "One, two, Maric's run through. Three, four, the kingdom's at war"?

If Alistair is that child, then the codex is either explaining what Alistair assumes about Eamon's reasoning (everything in the codex is what he "told" you, more or less, right?) or it could be an oversight -- if you prefer to believe that. Or there is another child, yes. You're free to speculate.Oronduil wrote...
Mr Gaider, can you confirm whether or not Allistair is the illegitimate child at the end of The Calling and it was just an oversight in the codex that contradicts this? Or is there indeed another contender to the throne running around?

Or maybe it was a mistake in the script and it was really supposed to refer to Cailan.

Thanks for the reply but I though grey warden couldn't have children (okay was told by Alistair again *sigh*)

That would certainly make more sense with the "kingdom at war" reference. The Angry One wrote...

Seems that the ghosts were pretty up-to-date on current events, then?

So since the books don't lie then Alistai was lied to, it's logical since Loghain will have wanted to kill him if he knew he was the grey warden and Maric son.

They can but it is highly unlikely. One grey warden with a normal person may have a child, would be hard though. Two grey wardens would be a miracle according to Alistair.

As for the rhyme, it could just be a made-up fantasy by children.

I'm willing to bet the child was completely unrelated to the events of the game, considering how much action Maric got.
Just how many illegitamate children does the man have, anyway?

Consider that Cailan might have bastards as well. Anora comments that Cailan had his women but he made sure never to embarrass her with them.
