Because they made the demo before the game was gold. Which is something every company does. Most of the time.

I played the demo, In my opinion, there's no real difference. The controls took time getting use to but I don't like the controls on the PS3 version.

But it was great to play it on PS3 but I'll stick to the 360 version.

ive messed around with the demo a few times, and in my opinion it looks nicer in some areas then the 360 version(dont know about the pc version) i first noticed things looked better when you have the first dialogue with liara. overall i always found my self focusing alot on shepard alot to when walking or running around i dont know if its just from the mass effect 3 engine or the ps3 but he seems closer to me then on the 360. I havent had any audio bugs yet but i havent played the entire demo. I did have the screen tearing on the inro video and had some frame rate issues in the first cutscene on the normandy.

overall i think it looks great! I'm probably gunna get this even tho i have it on 360 already for several playthroughs.

I'll probably get the game day 1 and see for myself. If it really is better I keep it. If not

I don't really care I can return the game within 7 days and get a full refund. The only advantage

of buying at Gamestop.

Don't know why they are saying that is large, there are a fair number of games that can take up over 3gb of HD space.

Can't see how the Disc and DL versions will be the same though, surely the DL version WILL be bigger because I would imagine the Disc version is utilising both the storage space AND the blu-ray disc, so the DL version would surely have to install it all. As for the 5.3gb comment that will most likely be taking into account all the extra DLC that we can download.

Anyway, thanks for the linky Baihu1983.

Yeah , I think Christina Norman posted that exact size on her twitter. So the 4.5  gig install is  if  your not doing the DL version.

Nope I'm not getting it, if they one day anounce ME4 and say that 3's data will be transferred and 2's won't, then I'll get 3 and 4. But, until then, I'm not apart of the Mass Effect world.

ME3 will be end of Shepard's story. This doesn't mean that there won't be an ME4 with a new storyline, maybe partially influenced by the choices in the original trilogy (think about DA-DA2).

Yeah, I'm sure EA wont be happy until its on Wii too, as well as turning it into an MMO.

According to this article, the retail build doesn't have any screen tearing;

http://www.gameblurb...58&preview=true

"Well, that time has come and the launch is here. So how much has
changed from the 2 month old build to the final. In terms of the demo
segments…not much. From our images below you will see slight
adjustments to the lighting in some scenes as well as a few sharper
normal maps.  But something that appears to be absent in the final
build is…screen tearing. From what we played the final builds
performance appears to be pretty solid. While the demo ran with vsync
disabled, we won’t know if the final build is locked until a full frame
rate analysis is done from one of the other comparison sites. But one
thing is for sure, there isn’t a vsync option in any of the graphics
menus."

They did! No screen tearing whatsoever, the game graphics also look a bit better.
The details for the environment was lacking in the demo and it looked better on the xbox. Well it was also fixed and the level of details is equal, maybe even better than the cboc version

Only downside for now, I can't activate the cerberus network, redeem code doesn't work and no PS3 support on this website
