hhmmm it looks this version has same ****ty framerate (EVEN in the normandy ROTFL) like the others 10.000 games porting on it..
or perhaps it's the bad quality of the video? Naaaahhhh
We'll se 21 Dec, with the demo...

Generally can't make framerate estimates (or even vsync/tearing from vids, btw, the framerate in the videos will be lower.)

The framerate dip comes from a stock set of videos that are given out to media outlets for promotional purposes. I've seen the same video clip on IGN and Playstation Blog. Also, I doubt Bioware would purposely release promotional video that displays framerate issues from the PS3 version.Funker Shepard wrote...
Well, I'll have to give this a try. For some reason audio seems out of sync on my x360 version (I'm thinking the hdmi auto-compensation doesn't work with it for some reason, unlike with the ps3), so if I had parity with the ps3 version, I might already be tempted. Of course, any character I created at the start of the PS3 version wouldn't be so much "my" Shepard, as the spacer sole survivor that was the first character I created and have taken through both games at least three times.

Is it for European too? Or just US and Canada? European PSN is sometimes a bit slow.
Chris mentioned it in the post look (bolded it for you)
I wonder what is going to be in the demo, I know it isn't same as the PC/360 one but that is understandable considering I know what is in the PC/360 demo.Evil Chris Priestly wrote...
The Mass Effect team is pleased to announce a demo of Mass Effect 2 coming to the Playstation 3 starting Tuesday December 21 for North America and Wednesday December 22 in Europe. This demo will be available through the Playstation network.
Be cool if we can customise Shep, but I imagine it'll be a default sheploo/femshep.
Just going to be fun playing ME2 again

Thank you for answer!!!!
Yeah, you don't need it to play single player. But it has a cool addition of a new team mamber to your crew, plus it comes free with the game.

It's just not really "exclusive". It's just paid content, We PS3 users get bundled in

Wrong, there are three 3 or 4 packs on the Disc, just look at the Box art, it's written on it.
The Comic WON'T be on the disc BUT will be free to download. There are also other free and payable stuff
downloadable on the Cerberus network.

Hey Folks,
For those that don't know, I am the Producer responsible for Mass Effect 2 PS3. Some of you may have read over on the German forums some of the details on Mass Effect 2 PS3's contents. I'd like to provide some clarity as I believe that there was some translation errors in the interview that Casey gave.
Firstly I'd like to talk about what's on the BluRay Disc; Of course Mass Effect 2 will be included. On top of that, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord, Kasumi: Stolen Memory and the Blood Dragon Armour.
Also included is, as on Xbox 360 and PC, an access code to the Cerberus Network. This will give you instant access to the same great lineup of Downloadable Content such as Zaeed and Firewalker.
We've talked briefly about the Interactive Comic. BioWare Edmonton (the group that made Mass Effect 2) teamed up with the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics to create an interactive backstory. While I can't release all the details about this yet, what I can tell you is that we want to create a stunning visual experience that not only tells the core story elements of Mass Effect 1, but also is fully interactive allowing you to be faced with some of the major choices which will have consequences your Mass Effect universe. This interactive comic's initial release will be exclusive to PS3 owners who would be otherwise unable to realize the full effect of choice in the Mass Effect universe and will be included on the Cerberus Network.
There will also be some DLC Bundles, such as the Aegis Pack as well as exclusive both Free and Paid DLC for all PlayStation 3 owners such as the Recon Operations Pack.
Edit: While I can't go into details all of this content is or was available to Xbox/PC Owners but otherwise wouldn't be available to PS3 owners. More details about this will be released later.![]()
I want also to touch on the '6 hour exclusive mission'. This I believe is a communication error lost in translation. When we talk about 6 hours of content we are talking about what's included exclusively "On Disc" (Kasumi, Shadow Broker, Overlord), The Interactive Back Story and the Cerberus Network Access.
Words can not express how very pleased I am to be able to bring this BioWare title to our PlayStation fans.
Lastly - As we're still a little while away from shipping this game, therefor some of these details are subject to changing.
-Jess
ps The the team is in the final polishing phase now and the game is looking fantastic! I can't wait to talk more about it and show more of it soon!
