I feel like im getting a bit off topic, but how is Awakening?

You're welcome!  I suppose this means I need to go back and pop in my 360 version, so I can find the code and do it properly too.

Was hoping we'd get to see the ME1 import creation cominc but alas twas not to be. Sadly my PC gaming master race genes were totally not liking the comparative downgrade in graphics quality and having to use a controller to aim. Still going to have to give it a rental at least to see how that intro comic plays out.

I don't know for sure, but I hope and expect that the "Insert Disc 2" screen will no longer exist in game. So you will be able to freely move throughout the entire game without any disc swap. This is one of the big reasons that I am considering getting ME2 on PS3.

of course there wont be one....there is no known ps3 game where that happened...and I dont think ti will hapen with such a big title.

Nope...you'll just have to wait for the 10 minute installation when you put the disc in.  Then the stupid 10 minutes before you create your character.

Not played it on PS3, did have it for PC though and enjoyed it, nice story and nice characters in it. I would say if you enjoyed DAO then you'll enjoy Awakenings. I know it was a bit buggy and not sure if those bugs been fixed yet. Generally I didn't have that many issues with it though.

@Makenzie What missions are in the Demo?
I know the PC/360 demo had starter mission and Jack, is it same?

to be honest, i didn't feel that the demo looked any better than the 360 version. i did notice jaggies however, while on the space station. If that was the ME3 engine, looks pretty much the same as the ME2 engine.



Demo ran silky smooth for me, which was nice as the IGN video preview was showing framerate issues.

Strange... outside of Dead Space (and the old Need for Speed titles)... I've hated EA... now theres ME2... and DA... wow...
Edit: my HDD space WAS at 72GB... but now its at 44... i need to delete alot of demos/trailers....

Didn't you get the memo?  EA is no longer the big evil, Activision/Kotick has claimed that spot.

EA generally leave Bioware alone and just provide funding. They've got a proven track record afterall.

oh, ok... CEO of activision....  kind of hate Activision... so ive never really cared who the CEO was....

Some people are reporting screen tearing and a lot of bugs in the demo. Can anyone confirm?



I was totally down to buy the PS3 version too but not if it has screen tearing - I hate that crap.
