I will be so pissed if Bioware puts multiplayer in ME3. I play ME for the unique single player experience, not to play the same old generic game types that every other shooter has.

If collectors do show up in ME3, it will just inforce that ME2 was a wast of time.

I don't want a 13 year old screeming at me when I biotic throw his a** off a cliff.
No mp thanks Bioware.

Wow i expect fans to read too much into a teaser trailer but now even IGN are doing it!. It's way too early to confirm if collectors will be in it or there will be a multiplayer mode etc etc. And if there is a multiplayer mode i won't be happy but meh it's not like i have to play it or anything. I have rarely ever touched multiplayer modes on games i find them boring and samey.

Its quite possible that the Reapers took some Protheans back to darkspace with them and made them the same as the Collectors. They wouldnt need sustenance to have survived this long as Mordin states that they are pretty much all cybernetics. The Reapers have to have something equivelent to ground forces dont they?

Why do I get the feeling that IGN is full of it?

IGN is probably pulling this one out of nowhere, or it's an opinion article. Didn't care enough to see.

My opinion on Multiplayer: If it's done well and with fun gameplay, why not?

Honestly, IGN has been throwing a lot of opinions and less facts of late. I don't know what has happened to them.

Humans could be   Soldier class
Krogan could be      Vanguard class
Asari could be          Adept class
Quarians could be  Engineer class
Turians could be     Infiltrator class
????? could be        Sentinel

I would pay good money to play as a Krogan.

The turian Councillor as a husk would be a sweet boss fight. :)

This article is all speculation, unless it comes out of Bioware's or EA's mouth it is not true.

I'd say we can see too little on that pic to decide what it is, but I wouldn't say that it is ruling out a husk. Where would the Reapers get a Turian from anyway?

Help me out here... I'm still trying to figure out how this trailer alludes to multiplayer. :/

Oh that's right, it doesn't. Once again ign is pulling crap out of their wild imagination. For bioware to have introduced multiplayer in this game, they would seriously need another separate team working on it. We already saw how the story of me2 suffered so the mindless shooter fans can have more pew pew and less dialogue/rpg gameplay.

In regards to the collectors, I'd like to know where ign caught that from. Probably the same place they saw the multiplayer allusion. :P

There are probably many aliens integrated into Earth society. Its not like its impossible for them to exist on the planet.

It is simply odd they would chose a minority alien to show in the trailer.

I have no doubt that there are alien immigrants who live on Earth because in Mass Effect 1 you hear some of the Terra Firma party supporters chanting "ALIENS OFF EARTH!"

I think it's actually really interesting because since there are Aliens living on earth that probably means there are aliens who are born on Earth and therefore in the technical sense they would not really be considered aliens.  That could mean that the Humans Systems Alliance actually has some aliens in it.

I really like the idea of aliens co-existing peacefully with humans on Earth and I sincerely hope that we see some Aliens on Earth in Mass Effect 3.

Yes. The Indoctrinated husks. Though for the most part they don't need ground troops. They just blow the ground apart.

I don't think they're just going to give us husks to fight in Mass Effect 3.  I have no doubt they'll be in the game but they'll have to give us at least a little bit more variety than that.

I'm hoping for some mini-reapers to fight on foot!  Who says all Reapers have to be the same size anyways?

It's not going to be that bad.  Just think about it, we beat the single player campaign several times so why would it hurt to have some fun multi-player mode to extend the longevity of the game a bit?

Just think, Collectors VS Alliance in capture the flag mode in the ruins of London.  It would be great!
