Anyone who prefers single player gaming KNOWS that multiplayer in games comes at the expense of the single player each and every single time.

I would really think twice about ever buying Bioware again if they are stupid enough to take the biggest one of the series yet and hinder it by attaching some dumb multiplayer to waste space and resources.

if they are CRAZY ENOUGH to make a multiplayer mode, I hope that they make a coop campaing that complements the main story (ie: the story of 2 soldiers fighting in earth)

PD:  this doesn't means that I support the idea, but the thread is about "how it should be" and no "MP mode, yes or no?"

Lay off the capslock already.  I've seen what online multiplayer looks like, and I hate it.  Not worth the resources.

Great example of the type of people who think every game involving guns needs a multiplayer.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: NO co-op story mode whatsoever.

If multiplayer is implemented, I'd like to see modes like deathmatch, capture the flag, etc. with classes to choose from, or you choose your weapons/powers before starting, like others have said.  There could be a progression system where you unlock new weapons, powers, and perks as you level up.  Something like that would have a lot of potential.

Also, something similar to Horde mode in Gears of War.  Play as a group of human survivors on Earth, trying to survive against increasingly difficult waves of husks, geth, collectors, etc.

Finally, I cannot stress this enough NO co-op story mode.  Keep the story strictly singleplayer.

Bioware is not a multiplayer developer. Mass Effect (the trilogy) is a single player experience, not a multiplayer experience. It'd be pretty stupid, and a ballsy move, to introduce multiplayer, which many don't want, to the last game of the trilogy. They might as well make a spinoff for that. If they want to ****** off a lot of the fans who are already angry about ME2's turn out, then so be it.

i dont understand why me2 was a million times better than me1

A lot of improvement in COMBAT SYSTEM (in me1 that part sucks) and also a lot of characters with a high charisma, but in the process they killed a part of the RPG SYSTEM, so, if in ME3 this issue is fixed the game's gonna be practially perfect.
