Bioware is not a multiplayer developer. Mass Effect (the trilogy) is a single player experience, not a multiplayer experience. It'd be pretty stupid, and a ballsy move, to introduce multiplayer, which many don't want, to the last game of the trilogy. They might as well make a spinoff for that. If they want to ****** off a lot of the fans who are already angry about ME2's turn out, then so be it.

-Polite

i dont understand why me2 was a million times better than me1

A lot of improvement in COMBAT SYSTEM (in me1 that part sucks) and also a lot of characters with a high charisma, but in the process they killed a part of the RPG SYSTEM, so, if in ME3 this issue is fixed the game's gonna be practially perfect.

again i dident say that i love me2 its way better than me1

NO I DIDENT SO STOP I HAVE BUSTING MY FINGERS TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO SEE ME3 WITH MULTIPLAYER WOULD BE A TERRIBLE THING now like i said before if you dont like me3's multiplayer than TELL BIOWARE TO DROP IT BEFORE WE LAY SIEGE TO EDMONTON

Fix'd again.

I am having such a good time right now.

Seriously, Brandon, relax.  There are tons and tons of games out there with excellent multiplayer.  The Mass Effect series is not one of them.  While I admit that multiplayer would be fun, it would drain resources from the main project and take up disc space.  Besides, combat has to be near-perfect for multiplayer to be feasable, and Bioware... really struggles with combat.  They'd have to rewrite the power system entirely.

Yes, playing as Grunt while your friends are Jack and Tali would be awesome.  If they could find a way to do it without nerfing single player, the reason I play the game in the first place, I'd say go for it.  However, after seeing how "meh" the single-player campaigns of other games got when multiplayer was tacked on, or how "meh" the multiplayer was itself, I'd rather avoid it.

Let Bioware do what they do best: make seriously epic single-player games.  Save the multiplayer for another game, one that doesn't have so much expected of it.

well thats your opinion maybe you should think about it IF YOU DONT LIKE THE MULTIPLAYER DONT PLAY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want a multiplayer shooter, go out and buy one. There are plenty out there already, without Bioware having to spend extra time and resources addnig smoething into the game that 95% of the players do not want. Gioven the extra code that has to be pumped into the engine to support it, there is a greater chance that it will ruin the game, than it will improve it.

Whilst we're at it, lay ofthe caps. It makes you look and sound like a whiney 10 year old who is throwing a tantrum because mummy wont buy him a lolly.

Nah, I don't think multiplayer is what mass effect needs to be better. Just more rpg elements and more fluid combat is all that I want.

Metroid Prime 2: multiplayer sucked so bad it might as well have not existed.  Definitely wasn't better than the first Prime.  One slapped-on mode of play will not make the game better.

Same thing happened with Bioshock 2. Bioshock 1 was amazing and then Bioshock 2 was just the same thing, just you're in a suit, and there's a lame multiplayer mode when you give up on the story.

Then I guess it's safe to say that you didn't read the OP. I'm not here
fighting for multiplayer in mass effect, nor do I think it'd be a good
idea. But there's already a thread for people to debate whether
multiplayer should be included in ME3.

The whole point of this was to see if anyone had thought of what it would be like, if it wasn't "nonexistent".

 So you didn't write this?

Right now we're not sure if Mass Effect 3 will have multiplayer or not. But this isn't about wheather it will or won't, if it did have multiplayer how would you predict/want it to be like?

I would like it to be nonexistent please.

A little coop game mode would be cool. I would enjoy running around as a squadie or even another shep lol. (even though two shepards wouldnt make sense) I just want me3 to have rpg elements and the equipment system that me1 had but with the combat system and armor customization of me2. Multiplayer would be okay, but SP is where its at for this trilogy. Maybe a mmo later on down the road...

If they ever impliment multiplayer on mass effect i would have it not hinder the single player of mass effect... it would be cool though if it was the style of army of two! without the creating of rooms.... Join in and play and choose whatever race, clothes, weapons and style as a addon to group and not take over any main character...

It should be a separate part of the game that doesn't interfere with or hinder the quality of the SP at all. Other than that, I really don't care.

Oh, I agree that I absolutely don't want multiplayer in the game, but do we really need a new thread about it twice a day?
