Okay the ground enemy is a Husk, and so what the pom has a voice actor? EVERY character in ME has a voice actor, so it really means nothing. I suspect that since he's on Earth and Shep isn't, that the pom will be important, but not a party member.
Also Ben. Really? Little Ben the Sniper in Big Ben the clock. Facepalm anyne?
I always find it ironic how you aussies call us brits POM's yet you have our queen on your currency and most of your ancestors were prisoners that we sent to australia.

*facepalm*. It's a nickname - New Zealanders are Kiwi's, Americans are Yanks or Seppo's, Australian's are Awesome *cough* I mean Aussie's, and the English are Poms.ShamieGTX wrote...

a POM means "Prisoner of her Majesty" and basically means you're a brit or of brit descent
oh cool... but wouldnt that be a degradetory term? (I know I spelt it wrong)
like referring to a black person as a ****... and wouldnt that be against Forum rules? i think we should stop using the POM.... thingie...

I wanted Sir Liam Teadrinkington XIV, esquire.
Be that as it may (which I assure you I'd change if I could), I'm also not of British ancestory so all good :-). I should also note that I'm not using the term 'pom' in an offensive manner.piemanz wrote...

Whoa, wait, hold the fluck on a second!
There's another pieman here?
Do you even have the proper notifications, documentation, and stipulations sir?
Do you have the official pieman leather jacket? The tattoo? The mandatory secret piercing that only piemen are allowed to know the precise location of (hint: it's not not the penis)?
I shall be informing the official PiE League of PiEtastic PiEness of North America about this, and the PLoPPoNA will not be pleased!

The only real difference between a husk and an indoctrinated being is that the indoctrinated person still retain some of itself, like saren described it - he wasn't turned into a husk until he was dead because they wanted him to be more than a mindless freak.desonnac00 wrote...
Husks are clothless and it looks humanoid(excluding other alien races collaborating with the Reapers) so my money is on "mercy kill" or an indoctrinated human.
An indoctrinated person wouldn't run after people like a lunatic flailing their arms about etc. a husk on the other hand is completely mindless and would run up to or chase anyone regardless of it's chances, regardless if the person in question was dug in and wielding a streetsweeper shotgun pointed at it's face and set to full auto.
It is without a doubt a Husk in that video.

I find it unusual that he had absolutely no idea what the Reapers are, yet knows enough about Shepard to be waiting for his assistance.
Has he been hiding under a rock ever since Shepard became a Spectre?? Everyone in the known galaxy should have been aware of Saren's "geth flagship" when it annihilated the Council forces & attacked the galactic government headquarters...

Sure, they know about Saren's "Geth" flagship, but the Council has deliberately buried any mention of the Reapers. He would know about Shep from his/her exploits in ME1 though.
I just figured this guy would most likely be Alliance affiliated. Shepard would generally be known for his exploits in ME1 regarding Saren, the Geth & the "Reapers". It strikes me that if you are a human & you are in the Systems Alliance, & you know of Commander Shepard, the first human Spectre, then I would think it'd be pretty narrow sighted of you to have absolutely no idea what these massive ships could be that are descending to Earth & destroying things in a fashion much akin to Sovereign's assault on the Citadel..
Not really an issue worth dwelling over, but just something that struck me as odd after I watched the trailer for the 20th time lol

Valid theory. I just don't think Bioware would have the husk wear clothes. But then again- interpretation should be liberal in these trailers- the clothes might be a symbol of it being an indigenous human turned against his own or something.
Can't wait to play ME3 and find out
