If I had to guess, especially with ME3 being pushed back to Q1 2012, Bioware will probably release another AAP (and maybe another small DLC pack, like a weapons or armour pack), with a GOTY version following around Q4 this year.

This.  I'd very much like to see a GOTY or Ultimate Edition with all of the DLC included.

Because of Mass Effect's whole file transfer thing, the Ultimate Edition should include ME1 and its 2 DLC and ME2 and its many DLC.

And then after ME3 comes out and after the end of its DLC, release an ultimate ultimate edition with all three games and its DLC.

Well, maybe the first suggestion is more likely to happen.

I thought there would have been an announcement about ME2 GOTY at either E3 or Comic Con but nothing. I would hate to pick up a copy of ME2 and download all the DLC only to have the GOTY edition drop in a few months! It would be nice if Bioware could weigh in on this...there is nothing worse than feeling burned on stuff like this!

I really hope they do reveal something at Gamescom. Would love a complete package of all the games, dlc's, artwork and figurines (Shepard or Normandy) etc! everything just stick a three figure sum at the end of it and i'll buy it all... again.

I have some really sad news, I've asked the guy who's hosting BioWare Pulse if there was one planned and he said:
"That isn't something in the works currently, so I'd say it's highly unlikely."

Mass Effect: Reaper Edition, because by the time time your done playing all of that it'll be just about time for the grim reaper to take your life.

any announcement may hurt sales of current products
so IF they do one we probably won't know until shortly before it comes out

That reduces my chances of ever getting ME3.  Don't want to go on to the third game without having played the full plotline of 2 (and gotten any important decisions/etc).  But I'm never going to use their online play money & download service, so.....

Ah, well. Was a good game series, shame to have to abandon it because of DLC.

not all console players have suitable home internet connections to obtain dlc - so it's either physical disc or miss that bit of story

Money's no problem (heck, I'm willing to buy a whole new GotY/Ultimate copy for full price). I just refuse to deal with anyone's online monopoly money. As long as they're trapped behind Bioware Points, I'm not going to bother. And without the full story, there's no point in going on to ME3. /shrug

Add to that these sites are getting hacked all the time.  Be danged if I ever give that kind of info on line to any site like that again.

I'll be waiting for the boxed set, or not getting it at all.

I know i would buy Mass Effect 2 Ultimate Edition or GOTY (whatever they want to call it) with all DLC because i am like many of you a hardcore fan and what is the point in playing Mass Effect 3 if you haven't lived whole story!!!! I mean I read all books and it would be a shame for me not to experience DLC too! I am not connected to XBOX live because in my country it is very poor connection! So please Bioware if you are reading this and I know that you are, relesae Mass Effect 2 Ultimate Edition cos there are a LOT of fans who WILL buy it!!!!!!

Hopefully, it may be released on December holidays, then we'll have a timeline of 3 months prior to reaper invasion. I made a new topic similar to this on the technical support, BW might just have time to read it
