You know what? Screw it. I'm a trained voice actor and I love Mass Effect. Put me in the game. Give me a role. Give an unknown guy a shot. If the community backs me and gets me a role, I will do something special for them. Don't ask me just what just yet because its 4am and this role is spur of the moment. If I get a role, I'll figure out something proper to return the favor with and do so.

Okay, you can be random bystanders #3, 5, 27, 56 and 99. ;)

In all seriousness, though, it would be nice if BW somehow managed to hire more people to do the throwaway bystanders so that you don't hear the same voice in ten different places. It's only obvious if you play the game a bajillion times like I do, but it does become a bit jarring after a while. But that would probably blow up their budget.

Hahaha I actually wouldn't mind that at all.  Any role would do.

That would be cool.  I know there are more like myself on this board.  I heard Yuri Lowenthal way too much in ME2.  In fact, Yuri Lowenthal and Liam O'brien were 60% of Fallout New Vegas' characters.  There's a lot of voice over artists like myself who'd love to get our foot in ther door.  You could help make it happen Bioware.

I'm a trained voice actor as well. I sure as heck wouldn't mind a role but I'm comfortable with the knowledge that I'll be in the field a few years down the line once I've moved up to the Vancouver area where there's a market.

At any rate, more Claudia Black. That's my only major request.

I could live with that. At least then they would have a way for our first name to be spoken in the game, at least by someone/something.

I can't stress enough how much I want to hear Brian Bloom in Mass Effect 3. After playing StarCraft II again it's my opinion this man has one of the greatest voices I've heard. Bloom was in other BioWare games so I hope he's high on BioWare's list, especially because he was great in Dragon Age II.

Agreed. I'm pretty sure Bioware could find an entire army of eager fans willing to do their VO bidding. Maybe even over the internets if you've got a decent mic.

YES! Sean Connery needs to be in the hearing on Earth, and when the Reapers arrive he can turn to the Turian Councillor and shake his head saying "Shocking... Positively shocking"

Omg, I must bring up whoever played Jowan in DAO. Eventually I wanted to punch my monitor every time I heard that voice. It's always the same, very distinctive voice, all over the goddamn place! He doesn't even change it!

That being said, I could go for some Ian McKellan (wait, what was that about blowing up the budget?), Gareth David-Lloyd, Greg Ellis, Steve Merchant or Tom Hollander (seriously, look up Clifford from American Dad Image IPB) in my ME3. Or in anything, really Image IPB
