Illusive Man indoctrinates Paul Grayson and he becomes Husk Avatar like Saren, if you kept the base.
Which means he is making husks.
So do you want me to shoot you in head with Widow or Phalanx TIM?

He does that if you blow it up too. Books go out of their way to not establish canon.Mesina2 wrote...

Never said it was a good book. And nothing in mass effect makes sense, why do you expect it to start now.Mesina2 wrote...
^Yeah, like they said Udina is a Councilor in that book.

The Rachni decision was not a Paragon/Renegade decision, IMO, since either decision could be defended from either side. I chose to let the Rachni queen live as a renegade choice because I deemed it an acceptable risk for future payoff, and didn't care if some people died from the Rachni.
Your morale argument for the Council is not bad. The counter would be that this isn't Braveheart: it's a space battle with high tech weaponry half run by emotionless computers. People aren't going to be out there performing amazing feats of strength. Though from a metagaming perspective, it's a space opera so I guess morale is important and the computer/human control split will favor humans more.
Lastly: about the "Let the council die" option. I see it as more of a pro-human option than a sociopath option. However, from a political standpoint it is pretty dumb because just coming out and saying that would be a terrible idea. My character wanted the council dead, but she chose the middle option because you want it to look legit

Please at least mention that many people saved the base thinking that you can inform the Alliance/Council.

It could be that he's waiting to see how it plays out in ME3. His previous vids had him defending the results of the previous decisions from ME1.

True Renegade supporters aren't really bashing paragons as being hopelessly naive. Usually, it is meant that some paragon decisions come off as hopelessly naive (differing on which ones those are).
The issue is more that, while you get rewarded for being a paragon, you don't get rewarded at nearly the same level for being a renegade, either in terms of validation (characters giving you a thumbs-up) or content (killed Gianna Parasini? no sidequest on Ilium), while being a paragon gives you much better results on either of the two criteria than being a renegade.

Then you're obviously not a REAL Renegade supporter!

lol. one must admit that paragons got a bit of teeth in ME2, what with the threatened leg-breaking of quarian-hating elcor merchants and all.Saphra Deden wrote...

now if only they'd give renegades a bit more huggability in return...

When it comes to Quarians being mistreated Paragon Shepard goes ape ****. He also pushes a Volus and nearly assaults a C-Sec officer over another Quarian.

Indeed. Best way to ****** off both my Para and Ren Sheps is to be mean to Quarians. Paragon Shep will do the above. Renegade...wishes there was an alternate renegade interrupt to where it's "punches" instead of "pushes", and the "nearly" is removed from that sentence.Seboist wrote...

Aside from the fact that Renegades do little to earn people's huggability?

Tough love is still love. More "encourage the krogan scout to bang some females" options would be nice.

Renegades don't like hugs.
