I wish to write here all the decisioms that will have a strategic impact on ME3.
The decisions like saving and/or Kaiden/Ashley are personal preferences and (as far as i can forsee) don't have a major impact on alliances and defeating the Reapers.

If I am missing any, let me know.

ME1
-------
Sparing/killing Wrex: this hasn't got much affect on ME1, but in ME2, Wrex desires for the krogen to be more peaceful towards other races and less bloodthirsty. On the other hand, if you Killed Wrex, his brother seems to be more focused on war and Krogan supremacy.
The rachni queen: few will be happy to see them again and they can still turn on you if you saved them, though that may depend solely on ME3 decisions
The council: This is mainly diplomatic as some races prefer the original council and others don't. However, It seems like the races arn't too happy about an all human council. It will likely influence who joins you and who doesn't in ME3.
Anderson/Udina: Anderson is more peacefull in his approach, well Udina is more militaristic. This will also affect the gathering of the races in ME3.

ME2
-------
Geth and Quarian potential war/peace: it will influence likely hood of recruiting both the quarians and geth and their numbers.
Re-writing heretics or not:
this will affect the number of geth on your side and wether or not you could end upfacing a reaper-geth alliance.
Keeping genophage cure or destroying it: this decision makes me wonder about the killing wrex decision. Wrex will help you without a doubt and, more than likely, turn the Krogan into a more peacefull race. His brother on the other hand...well, I doubt he has good long-term intentions and may spark another krogan rebellion.
Collector base: I don't trust cerberus, but I want the tech for defeating the reapers. If TIM has the base, there is no telling what he will do with it and oits technologies.

To discuss: are there any possible strategic side missions, what are their outcomes in
ME2 and how do you think the decision will play out in ME3?
Also, how
may the seemingly non-strategic decisions in ME1 and ME2 become
important in ME3?

good point. maby the possible decisions in ME3 that could stem from these..
Maby how the seemingly trivial decisions can decome important in ME3. Like how saving that warlord woman can be a good or bad choice in ME3.

That's it...are there any possible strategic side missions, what are the outcomes in ME2 and how do you think the decision will play out in ME3? Also, How may the seemingly non-strategic decisions in ME1 and ME2 become important in ME3?
