I want to modify existing morphs, but I don't know where to find them.
I want to open my character's morph to tweak it, as well as the NPCs and companions.

Thank you.

Bioware HAS released most of them for each head in the game; I saw them posted on this site a month or so ago.  The only issues are, I can't find them now for some reason... I have no idea why they made these so difficult to get a hold of.  Perhaps they were taken down for some reason.  I'll keep an eye out.

Oh, and the second thing, they never released any of the head morphs for the DLC, like Warden's Keep and the like.  I'd love to get my hands on those myself.

Thanks for that; that's the same post I was referring to. Did Bioware ever reveal any morphs for any DLC characters?

They aren't releasing DLC source content from what I understand.

You can also use the toolset's morph tool along with the "unique shapes" tab to recreate several of the main characters' faces. It doesn't have everyone, but it does have many. I've just released an update to fix the problem with Leliana's eyes disappearing when using her shape.

I saw that fix you posted, EJ42.  Extremely useful!

Not to continuously bump this thread, but I'm still curious/confused about something regarding morphs of characters featured exclusively in DLC (or "premium content").  DarthParametric, you mention they likely aren't releasing source content from DLC.  But with this being the case, is it still possible to figure out the names of DLC characters' head morphs in order to overwrite them with your own?  In other words, say I want to change the head morphs of Levi and Avernus from the Warden's Keep DLC.  I know I wouldn't be able to load-up their heads in the toolset, I simply want to make my own from scratch to replace them with.  Is this possible to figure out the file-names of their head morphs somehow without the source content?  And if it is, how is this done?

Thanks again, and I'll quit asking questions here once I can make sense of this issue, I promise heh.

Don't know how you'd dig the information out yourself, but here's a shortcut. These are all the head morphs listed in the source directories for Warden's Keep:

You've just helped me out MASSIVELY; thank you!  That's exactly what I needed and then some.  You've been incredibly helpful.

As for figuring all this out on one's own, I figured that was impossible.  However the creator of the 'DRAGON AGE Redesigned' mod claims he just happened  to figure out the exact morph names of DLC characters like Levi claiming "I just figured it out. Every toolset has a pattern."  I truly question the validity of this statement, especially now.  One must  have access to the source content to know such things, correct? Either way, thank you so much again!

No problem. I don't know what the plan is for releasing DLC source resources but if you need any other bits of basic interoperability information like this I should be able to provide it. I just stuck this list up at http://social.biowar...DLC_morph_names where others can find it and maybe annotate it. I'll add more names when future DLC is released.

Oh man, I was sort of hoping there would be more than one character for the "Return to Ostagar" mod.

Thanks semper, but im kinda noob to this, can you explain how i import the morphs? when i create 'new morph' i can only select about 6 different standard heads (i.e. HF / EM / and so on). What i like to accomplish is changing an NPC entirely, face and clothing. I tried the wiki but it's not really helping.

The morphs for the most part change only the face. It takes a lot of getting used to. What I personally found helpful was this file here.

http://social.bioware.com/project/30/

It took me about 2 months to really understand everything and make the faces the way I wanted them to. Remember to hold "shift" and the right mouse button to rotate the faces. Once you start to get the hang of things, it starts to get really fun. I worked on a project before but I have discontinued it, as it really is time consuming.

One new character for Return to Ostagar. The rest of the people were there in the main campaign so no new head morphs were needed.

Oh, and of course there's darkspawn. Lots of darkspawn. :)

I'm curious, how do you open a original head mor of a original character in a game. I always find myself. Making the characters face out of scratch to match it, is there an easier way of getting the face. If you just want the original?

yeah I know, but where do you find them in the database of the toolset, I just want to get the face, and not try to replicate it, or do I need the MRH file, are there MRH files of the main characters already made, that I can open or something

================================

download this one:

Core and single player head morphs.zip

================================

just open the file with the toolset, edit it, save as (different location offcourse) ((I guess, as I doubt the situation is different))

Post to local, Then find your exported file and put in override, but offcourse you already know this....

---------------------------------------------------------

main characters are in the Global Folder, enjoy!

I LOVE you (a sentiment I normally only express towards tobacco!) for giving me this. I've been searching for the young avernus facemorph for days, even going so far as trying to download a sizeable amount of programs to be able to view the .erf files in the wardens keep mod itself for an inkling. Why couldn't this thread have come up the first time 15 times I googled?

I do not care if im necroing this thread right now, my declaration of love will not be denied by society morals!

EDIT (now that I may have your attention): Anyone know how I can get a hold of the names of the soundsets from Wardens Keep (specifically Avernus)?
