That said, I might be finally persuaded to play a male Shepard if Big Ben was bisexual. (Alliteration!) But if he's available, I sure as hell hope he swings both ways. I've got a single femShep that wants and wants bad.

I don't think having Fillion voice a gay/bi character woule emasculate or "MESS WITH" him in any way, but I can't imagine I'm in the majority on this.  Still, thank you for clarifying.

The idea of squadmates getting involved in romances has come up before.  It's an idea that has some merit, and we saw it with Aerie and Haer'Dalis in BG2.  Critics of the idea said it would make the game seem too much like a dating sim.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing some resolution to Kasumi's infatuation with Jacob, or at least another mention of it a la Lair of the Shadow Broker.

I don't see how having romances go on between NPCs is like a dating sim... it's not even like Shepard would be matchmaking, they could just happen in the background, based on what Shepard's romance status is.

Besides, this is a game where you're fighting what is essentially a one-man galactic war, and yet you still have time for multiple romances. The suspension of disbelief is already being stretched pretty far, might as well not worry about it too much when it comes to LI's.

Most likely Benezia as Liara has no recollection of Aethyta in her life. Or maybe Benezia took the baby and split as soon as it popped out of Aethyta.

I think everybody's up for more interaction between the squadmmates in general. We only saw a little bit in ME2, through the Jack-Miranda and Tali-Legion conflict. You could go on that there are many more potential conflicts, but I would like to see one of those romances as well. Think of all the juicy gossip you'll hear. Makes me giddy

Most of the folks who don't want new ones are just worried their old favorite is going to get shortchanged.  I definitely want something different from what we have already.

Either way I think there's a good chance of seeing new ones if Bioware sticks to their standard formula coupled with the fact they want these to be standalone games.

Yes please.  He looks and sounds...promising.  Character wise I'd like a guy who isn't overly sensitive, doesn't have dead lover/family issues, and refrains from calling me the prize.  Concessions will be made for cheesy come-ons because everything sounds better with an english accent.

And since I like sharing it would also be cool if he was an option for M/M which is sadly lacking in ME for my fellow gamers so inclined.
