A female Turian would be interesting, if they manage to make her appealing. Other than that I'd just want returning characters (like Shiala).

Umm btw, you guys all know that Bioware has said that Shepard is strait right? Don't flame, me because I don't particularly have an opinion on the matter, just sayin it's kinda beating a dead horse from what I've read.

Well, I will queue with those wishing there was a female human that is less pathetic than what we have seen so far. Besides I just hope to see more development of existing romances. Maybe we can finally do something else but just have sex with them.

Gianna Parasini - She definitely flirted with your Male Shepard in the second game if you helped her out in the first one. Helping her out in both games can make her a suitable candidate.

Emily Wong - Much like Gianna, she can become a love interest if you got Fist's files and planted the bug. An additional condition would be that your morality is more Paragon

Honestly, I don't see why Wong or Parasini can't be a femShep LI.  Parasini did give femshep an extended look while leaving Illium.  As for Wong, we have no idea her orientation... so she could be male exclusion, female exclusive, or not even date humans.

I like most of your other picks though.  I'm most excited about Shiala, she's kickin'.

I doubt Kasumi will be a F/F LI, she's clearly most interested in Jacob.  However, I hope that we can make a strong friendship with her as femShep. 

Zaeed would probably be a M/M option.  He never states anything about his orientation, so he could easily be made an LI.  Not sure any of my Shepards would want to pursue him, though.  Big Ben Sniper is another option.  

I agree with most of you, we don't necessarily need any "new" LIs, just existing characters that can become (or continue) as LIs.

EDIT2:  @ Homey C-Dawg   Bioware has stated that sheepishly in the past.  However, they've considered M/M interests in the past as well, and we're letting them know what we want.  Besides, femShep doesn't seem very "straight" to me.  She can romance Liara or Kelly.  Having the female version of Shep be undefined but make the male strictly "straight" is an odd choice.  If you want to read more about this subject, please see my signature.  I won't get off-topic any further.

I don't see why they shouldn't be able to do that. I mean, look at Garrus, he is totaly handsome. Then again I suppose good looks are a very strong case of personal taste when it comes to turians.

It is not very easy to include a new meaningful and proper romance to the game with so many plot lines from previous games waiting to finish.

just you all watch. the moment they unveil a new attractive looking character. everyone is gonna change their minds and want that person to be avaialble as a LI. Just like Big Ben Sniper.

thats why i'm doing my final run of both games right now as a single shepard just because i know i wouldn't be able to resist a new love interest and don't want to be a cheater

As far as I can recall, the scandal over ME1's sex scenes had less to do with homosexuality and more to do with just having sex in a video game.

Why did you do this thread? You know everybody’s going to want to romance every human, alien, reaper, and bug out there about the only one who has yet to come up as someone wants to bone it is Avina! I say no more continue who is there already. And I also say no to turning people like Tali, Ashley, Kaiden, and Garrus into bi characters they’ve been established sense 1 not to be into their own sex talk about ruining characters. The only ones so far who where suppose to be bi where Thane and Miranda. I think if BW is in need of putting one in there go for Jack sense she already has a history or open up the Omega love service.

LOL, these echoed my thoughts.  Its looking more and more that people here wanna bang anything or wanna re-write characters to fit their preference.  Keep the LIs we have and continue their stories.  Im ok with adding a new person or 2 considering the "stand alone" style, but don't blame Bioware if the new ones arn't as deep as the other ones that had a trilogy to tell.

I am quite serious about Morinth. She is a perfect fit for my renegade male/female Shepard.

 I want a romance interest that is... fairly normal, professional at first, no awkward flirting until it becomes appropriate.  Also, human.  Or just a really extraordinary alien.  No, Tali and Liara are not extraordinary enough, or in the right way that I would find interesting in a romance plot.

Blah.  I'll take what's there, might not even finish the romance plots, except for my curiosity.
