No time for lovin' times when the Earth and rest of galaxy in danger. If you already have a love interest then you dont even need to worry about such things

Oh, come on. We can't have something tense and hot and steamy before our Shepard inevitably has to make a huge decision that could either kill them or kill their potential lay? Don't be mean. ;)

I'm mostly happy with the current selection, but it wouldn't hurt to have A) a male LI for the ladies who is neither the stereotypical badass nor as bland and boring as Kaidan nor as disrespectful as "the prize," and B) A female LI for the gentlemen who has some manners without being a total fangirl and who isn't obviously just there to be eye candy.

As a woman, better guys are my main interest, but I also don't particularly like the current female squad members when I've got to interact with them.  Thane and Garrus are both great options, but I'm biased toward Garrus because he's not always going to be remembering some dead wife when he spends time with Shepard.  Nor is he dying.  Let's have a non-tragic interesting guy, okay?  I don't want some nutcase, or a jerk who's going to try to dominate my Shepard or overprotect her when clearly she can take care of herself.  I'm not sure what it is that I want precisely, only I think I'd prefer a human or even a different kind of alien who's a bit different from what we have.  (But let's still keep Garrus and Thane, okay?  Garrus may not be hot, but he's still awesome--a man who'll actually respect Shepard?  For who she is?  And not compare her to someone else?  Really?  Yes please.  Now give those traits and a different overall personality to another guy or two and it'll maybe even be hard for me to choose in ME3.)  Miranda never really warms up to my Shepard (and I understand her romance is more about sex and her "hawt bod" than anything else--seriously, Bioware, what's with the catsuit?). Tali... Well two games and I feel like I know more about quarians in general than Tali specifically--I like her from what I know of her, but I should feel like she's my best buddy and Kasumi (who is not a romance option for the guys) fills that role better. Jack is crazy and no amount of romancing is going to make her sane, or safe to have aboard the Normandy.  Sorry, guys, one night of hot lovin' is not going to repair a lifetime of abuse and conditioning.

And I'm all for the same-sex thing being allowed in ME3. I won't play it, but since it's the last game in the trilogy I think Bioware should give those of you who do, what you want. And not another F/F thing, either, because double standards much? Thus far every same-sex option Bioware added into ME has been F/F--the sexist implications of which makes me a little sick if I'm perfectly honest, especially when coupled with the uber-tight and revealing outfits the ME2 ladies are dressed in (as compared to the more reasonable outfits in ME1, some of which were revealing but at least no one was wearing a catsuit unless she was dancing in a seedy bar). The days of video games existing solely for 13-year-old horny boys are over, okay? So along with some better choices for those of us who are straight and may want to play a single-to-nearly-the-end Shepard (or ditch the old for the new, not that I plan to), I'd like to see the F/F balanced with M/M whether as bisexual couples or straight-up gay characters. Fair's fair.

To be fair to Bioware, Jacob's outfit is just as sexualized as Miranda's.  While Miranda's might show more skin, Jacob's outfit features color contrasts that highlight the stereotypical shape of the idealized male.

Well, re-thinking this, I would actually enjoy a Christina Norman-avatar LI - she's darn cute ;)

No new love interest is needed. Just BUILD the romance that were started in the first two ones. Plus having a new romance in a time like this.... would seem trivial.

If it's trivial to have new romances it's trivial to build up old ones.

Personally if they have new relationships, add M/M ones, or add Shiala and Legion (I know weird but it would be funny as hell!), also show Tali's face! It was an incredible tease to do what BW did with Tali's romance scene...

Nonsense... existing romances already are on the go. You're not just gonna drop your current lover because you're going to war... but sure enough you wouldn't have the time or mood to flirt around with other potential "mates"..

And all of that applies for your current romances. You wouldn't have the time or mood to flirt with your current partner either.

And if you hadn't realized Shepard wasn't exactly cruising on a peaceful day when he met his other romances.

Nothing to be compared to what's up ahead... and if you were going to war tomorrow, wouldn't you feel like kissing or at the very least hugging your wife goodbye? It doesn't have to be sexual, but emotional, hell yes. They can definitely build on what's already there. New romances would seem out of place in an endgame, I think.

My arguement is it's not as out of place as your assuming it is. If it was so was the last 2 romances.

And sure kiss and hugging is fine so you're fine with one cutscen of Shep and his LI? So what exactly is wrong with Shep getting a similar scene with a new LI?

I can't see Kasumi being a love interest, she's a dlc character and she is probably still grieving over Keiji

Shepard will give her a shoulder to cry on. Which will lead to other things if you know what I mean.

Maybe have a love interest that's a bounty hunter tracking shepard, having been hired by a group angry at him (such as Cerberus if you blew up the base) and they'll eventually join shepard if you play it right

Star Wars did it.

Very, very badly too, might I add. So I guess that actually gives some extra validity to it, since it was kinda cool what they were trying to do in that (a book I believe). A good idea IMO, and I bet Bioware would have fun with that.
