OK, ME had 6 squad members and ME2 had 12 IIRC (with DLC) so let's meet in the middle and select 9 squad members you'd like to have in ME3 be it from ME, ME2, ME3 trailer, ME books/comics or charactes you'd like to see appear from the ME universe.

It's a bit heavy on either tank or sniper specislists but I think I could save the galaxy with these 9.

I'd love to have Wrex and Liara, but I think what Wrex is doing on Tuchanka to be very important for the future of the Krogan (assuming we stop the Reapers) and Liara is the Shadowbroker so....

And I want Mordin and Anderson on the ship, but not necessarily squad mates.

4. Aethyta (that bar needs a tender)

6. Female Turian Biotic Spectre (preferably the same one Garrus "sparred" with, for extra awkwardness)
7. That Sniper guy, 'cause there had to be a reason for him showing up, he can be a late pick-up like Legion
8. Urz (Dogmeat type character, I can always take 2 of the above 7 and either him or the below squaddie)
9. Pet Rachni (if you exterminated them you're just missing out )

I would say Blasto but that would end the game in 5 minutes. Miranda, Ash, and Mordin are all with Shepard but stay on the ship because I'm not risking my XO, marine commander, or chief SCIENCE! guy.
