Not this thread again... Bioware stated that it won't happen with Shepard. Even Dr. Muzyka said it in an interview. Just let it rest.

Actually, this is the thread you're thinking about. And I don't think there's any reason to "let it rest". The whole thing is an embarrassment to BioWare, frankly.

And why do you keep signing your posts? I can see who wrote it already. That's why we have usernames.

The difference between Gay males and Gay females is its extremely awesome to watch 2 lesbians go at it no matter who you are as opposed to watching 2 gay men go at it. THAT is why their will never truly be a gay only male LI in the ME/DA series.

(Iam not a hater, Iam just stating the obvious)

I want to punch you so bad right now.

Anyhow, while I don't think I'd try it I would certainly be glad if a M/M romance appeared in ME3. I don't think it will, for a number of reasons that have already been stated (last episode, fear of controversy) but I'd be overjoyed if it did.

This. Shame on you, BioWare!

You say your Shepard is Gay but obviously Bioware sees them as either Straight or Bi and LIs for Femshep are either Straight or Bi. While Male Shep 'must' be Straight and he only messes with Straight or Bi women.

Why do I get the feeling that your idea of Lesbians comes from some fantasy girl-on-girl porn that is specifically made to cater to a male audience?

And for that matter, have you actually seen or know any REAL lesbians?

It does. They neglect the female audience and go for the male one. Hey if guys can like girl on girl stuff cant girls do the same thing but guy on guy, In anime its called yaoi and it has a VERY big fan base.  I may not like having a 'gay' shep but it does seem like a double standard to me.

DA did it. So why cant ME? Just because the people at Bioware say something about a character doesnt mean it cant change. One of them even said that nothing is final till release day.

Tangent: Wasnt Kaidan in ME1 supposed to be bi but they removed it due to time conflictions. Thats what I heard anyways.  Image IPB

I disagree.

You do realize a lesbian can date a bisexual woman, right? She's still a lesbian; dating that bisexual woman does not in turn make her bisexual as well.

There is absolutely nothing in ME or ME2 that implies my Shepard in any way likes dudes.

Dunno why, but lately I've become really attracted to the idea of a romance between maleShep and Thane.  Other than that, nope.

I was actually thinking the same thing if mshep was able to pursue ****** romances. I wanted to try it at least once.

Edit: Stupid pop up from computer lab is stupid.

You know what? I'm straight but even I'm offended by such hate. Though it isn't my place to discipline you.

I say if guys get to watch two hot women enjoy each others company, then gals deserve the same consideration and get to see two hot guys enjoying each others company. Equal opportunity.

He probably doesn't know that real life lesbians don't let guys watch them have sex...nor want anything to do with guys in a sexual way.

Isn't Kelly just in a classification all to her own?

Kelly is a bisexual human woman. A female Shepard's relationship with her is a homosexual romance. I suppose I don't know what you're trying to say with your "classification" comment.

Well, if you listen to her she's into humans, turians (sp), krogan, varren, etc.... Kelly is pretty much open to anything that breaths (which is why she creeps me out....)

I believe its bit too late in Shepards trilogy. Lets just keep Shepard the way he is and talk about the game after ME3...

Wouldn't really bother me one way or the other. While I'd say the canon shep appears to be straight what you want to do in your game is your business. I don't think it is an embarrassment for bioware to leave it out though. I find the idea actually offensive that if you leave something out you are basically automatically labeled either as prejudiced your self or a coward. People who think that are just as bad as the homophobes IMO.

I'd say its a bit late for canon shep, but does it hurt anything if it is a possible outcome for a players shep?

I am gay, and very proud of it, I love to march in the GAY Parade to let everyone know WE ARE HERE and we are not going away. Either march along side in support or get out of our way. We are legions!

"The way he is"?  People have roleplayed their Shepard as being gay in ME1 and ME2.  The only thing is that there were no available LIs so this Shepard was quite lonely.   Having one gay option available to ManShep in ME3 isn't going to make all the ManSheps that were straight in ME1 and ME2 all of a sudden bisexual.
