Has anyone tried one of the new GTX580 or GTX570 cards with NWN2?  If so how are they performing for you and what is your resolution / game settings?

I would like to second this request. Also, what processor are you using?

I have a 480 using 1920x1080 with max settings and it runs ultra smooth unless you look through trees a bunch of trees in a heavily treed map. Then it just slows down a little but still runs good.

Thanks, nicethugbert. What cpu do you use? I currently have an E6600 and want a new video card, but if its going to be limited by my processor, then I don't think there's much of a point.

I have an i7-930 and 12gb ram.  I use www.tomshardware.com for my PC research.

I have an I7 quad core with an nvidia 480GTX on Windows 7 64 bit and I'm getting some strange renderings in outdoor areas.

All indoor areas look really good, (better than I've ever seen).

What's funny is, the toolset runs faster and smoother than ever, but the game is acting up.

Please look at this picture of and give me any suggestions you might have.

I'm really missing NWN2.

Also, I have MotB and SoZ installed and patched to the latest patch.

It's a driver issue. There's threads about it.

Can't find off the top of my head exactly which driver is needed.

Yes, Nvidia has a "habit" of changing the way their drivers work during new versions, and sometimes you just have to roll back your driver to an earlier version while waiting for the complaints about issues like that pile up to the point where they finally say, "Alright, we'll fix it, sheesh." They talk a great game, but as far as their drivers and updates and subsequent support go, you really should wait for a while before updating them to see if there's issues such as these.

I picked up a 570 and had no issue with drivers. I did have a noisy DVI output but the card is baing RMA'd. HotU until I get it back.
