Hi all,

Just fallen on this german website with a recent  4 pages preview.Sadly, it only concerns the consoles versions. But I did find some interesting informations like:

-still the same school of magic : spirit, creation, primal, entropy (end of page 2). It also speaks about "arkan", but I don't know if it refer to the Arcan Warrior's specialisation wich would mean a return for this one.
-another thing about the rogues, but I must warn it's doubtfull. It talks about any archery talent, which I thought it has disappeared.

The most part of this review is already known for the most aware of the community, but at least, its conclusion is nice : "very good".but again, i'm doubtfull of the knowledge of the writer: he would have prefer a more flashy game which is uncompatible with Thedas universe: a dark fantasy game.

But here is the most pleasant things to read:
"What they like :
-  Development is not fixed on PC.
New and interesting characters
Story continues

Must be even better:[/b]
- Vivid background.
How does he dare to ask a flashy game? We're not talking 'bout Oblivion, are we?
- More balanced battles
. But I'm wondering in which approach do we have to consider this. Do the fights are too much easy or too much difficult? Does it also refer to the balanced class system?

Conclusion:[/b]
"If the developers fill the meager gaming world with more life, I shall gladly return to Ferelden".
It seems they do not consider the actual state of the game : unfinished, which means it remains lots of things to do
I must also say that in his actuial form, i was given an auto google translation,so this article is subject to some errors like Evelyn = Avelin or vilain = rogue.

But if someone could bring a better translation from german, it could be nice.

The article

Was this journalist present last week in Edmonton?

edit: fixed

Preview! not review...there is a big difference.

Im trying to translate a bit...am german.

Some statements:

- Hawke is in Kirkwall 1 year after the prologue with a lot of Companions.
- The imported saves will define the political situation.
- The demo had the same charme and atmosphere as the predecessor.
- Cassandra is a Templar who is searching Hawke, she thinks he can prevent her world to fall in chaos.
- Hawk meets Isabella first time in Kirkwall, she also needs his help
- 5 specialisations for magic: spirit, creation, primal, entropy and arcane.
- you either concentrate on one specialisation or learn from every specialisation...whatever you like.
- 5 Rogue specialisation: Archer, sabotage, two wielded, scoundrel (or beggar/rouge... maybe bard?), specialist

yeah thats pretty much it...the rest is the usual marketing lines :)

It's a review of the preview.

And I think they've stated that the place fillers are going to be added. If that also applies to the build there, I don't know.

Archery tree was always there for Rogues, just not for warriors.

Rouges get Dual weapons and Archery; warriors get Sword and Shield and Two-handed weapons

That outfit is ridiculous. I thought the no-pants thing was more a joke or exageration.

You know all those times you were making a face, and someone warned you, "Stop that, or your face could freeze that way."? That happened to him.

Let this be a lesson to you all.

Eh? You mean thought that everyone was picking on her for lulz? Well, yes, we do that too, but we were pretty serious about the panty shots thing.

EDIT: You know, I hope they add some metallic shine to Isabela's jewelry. It almost looks like it's made of clay.

Qunari horns look a lot like those in the new Dragon design. Flemeth's, too.

It also looks like we might be seeing Dragon Cults in Kirkwall. I already figured that Kirkwall's Eagle mark was just the Viscount touching up the Tevinter symbol for Dragons.

Let me guess--he's actually smiling in that picture, isn't he?

I never saw the panty shot, so I assumed she just had a short skirt (because that's what her t-shirt looked like to me), so I thought everyone was really saying that her skirt was so short she's basically wearing just a thong.

As it turns out, she's actually just wearing a thong, which is ridiculous. Who the hell goes around in a t-shirt, boots and thong?

She's a pirate.  She needs speed and mobility.  The person she's fighting has no shirt on and is exposing about six major organs as well as the main part of his central nervous system.  She's exposing a few inches of her upper thigh, containing a few major arteries.  All of her floppy bits are adequately restrained (no bouncing), so she can could climb ropes and walk across a slippery deck.  What does she need pants for, besides a false and ridiculous sense of modesty?

I was always surprised that some people honestly couldn't tell Sten was smiling. It seemed rather obvious to me.

That's right. Pants are an unnecessary inconvinience.

I'm starting to think that leadership ability is evaluated at an annual scowl-off.

My memory is a little fuzzy, but doesn't his (un)smile look incredibly disturbing?
