I prefer just playing games on my laptop, since it's a beast of a machine and goes everywhere with me, anyway.

Must be water proof? That or you have a floating attachment for the bath?

I bought ME2 on the PC when it launched and I also have a PS3.

Short answer: No, I'm not getting ME2 for the PS3. Who buys a game twice?

I might pretty much depends on how thorough the intro comic is in creating ME1 save imports. I'll definitely use one of my free video game rental coupons from blockbuster :)

It's protected by a quantum field I designed myself.  It also shoots lasers.

I named it Herbert.

considering hte PS 3 video made my eyes feel weird no i would not. I'm also a staunch hater of any product sony....i just don't like them i have no explanation for it sony just sucks. in Fact had ME originated on the Playstations i'd never have tried to the game it wasn't until my friends said na they're only on the Xbox and PC that i tried the game.

Wow some people dont like cats, or maybe they dont like dogs. But more people just dont like Sony, I suppose its just one of those things.

Personaly I think its very wasteful to buy a game twice.

I will wait for the 360 goty edition. Chances are that it will also be run on the me3 engine and have all of the same dlc

Hell yes I am getting this on PS3 at midnight launch and all true ME fans who have a PS3 should too. I played and beat ME1 and ME2 in a combined 500 hours. I just got the Kasumi DLC so the PS3 version will be almost like a completely new game for me.

I definitely would if I felt I had the money. With LittleBigPlanet 2 and Dead Space 2 being released alongside it, (Not to mention games like Okamiden and Marvel vs Capcom 3 a couple months later... and TOR some time down the road) I may not have enough to buy ME2 again.

Chances are quite low of that happening. That would mean porting the game yet again and I doubt Bioware will do that. Especially since there is no reason to.

But there is no reason to buy it again for me. I'm perfectly happy with my M/KB controls.

If I get my finances sorted before then I might buy a copy and capture card just to make some console vids to compare to all my PC ME 2 vids.

Stupid of me that I couldn't think of that
Because you know... I COULD rent it instead of buying it.

No. I don't own a PS3.

Even if I did...no, not likely. I see no reason to.

I don't own a PS3 (or any kind of console for that matter), so no.  :)  I'd pay for the interactive comic as DLC for PC, of course, but I feel that's unlikely to be possible.

I'd love to play that interactive comic but its not worth paying $60 for. I'll wait till its $20.

The comic should be a timed exclusive so I don't think you'll have to pay $20 for it. The only reason I can see people repurchasing the game is if they own the 360 version and don't want to deal with disk swapping for ME3.

I have a PS3 and I love Mass Effect, so yeah, I'll be buying the PS3 version even though I already own the 360 version. Even if I only play through it a couple of times on the PS3, I'll get a lot more value out of it than other games I've bought in the past. At least it's a game I know I will like.

I probably won't buy it because I want to buy other games and already own the 360 version.  And when ME3 comes around I can start with ME1 and make a character that I'll import all the way to ME3.  You can't do that with the PS3 version.

I really doubt that any choice not presented in the PS3 comic will make any impact on ME3. So we should be able to get a good guage on where ME3 is going plot wise.

I'd consider it if I had a 360 version. No for the graphics but because I prefer the PS controller. Luckily I'm a PC guy for mass effect so my 360 and PS3 will sit idle.

Nope. If I were to buy it again, I'd buy the PC version and upgrade my machine to play it.
