hmm... Yes since it comes with bonus content and with that interactive comic i hope you can make all the choices you made in the past game including the 2 dlc's

At first I was considering it but after the "exclusive content clarification" topic I changed my mind. There isn't enough content to justify a second purchase and the interactive comic can easily be done on PC by a fan.
The only way for me to re-purchase ME2 on ps3 is to bring some kind of ultimate ME2 experience. Graphic wise it could have been done on PC if it wasn't a simple console port.
If there's nothing exclusive and worthy in the ps3 version, then no. Now that ME2 PS3 has gone gold, it's pretty much settled...

...Why would you get the same game for more than one platform?

No, I don't have a PS3. :P But even if I did, I own the Xbox 360 and PC version, two is enough.

Yes, I will be getting it for the PS3 as well because a.) I'm a big fan of the series, and b.) I'm just a big damned trophy ****. :P

Seriously though, I am eager to experience ME2 again on another of my preferred platforms. DOn't do PC gaming. I have neither the time nor the money for it.

Don't have the time for PC gaming yet time for console gaming?

Well I don't own a PS3 so no, and I wouldn't even if I did as the framerate looks a little too unstable for me... However ones I have the money for a gaming pc I will get every ME game for it

It seems like all the collectors out there who have the spare money will get it, but the majority of people will most likely spend up on something new.

Personally i dont own a ps3, but i was actually considering getting one for this - until i found out theres no point - as the content is identical.

I can wait for the day when the ps3 is cheap as at a second hand shop - theres so many rad games to keep up with just on one console, let alone 2 or 3 - especially when paying full retail!

I own the collector and standard editions for the 360, but I wont get it for ps3. Though I have to admit it looks better on ps3 from what I saw.

I think he's talking about putting the rig together and upgrading it. Although that's actually such a RIDICULOUSLY overblown aspect of PC gaming that it's become silly. People who don't game on PCs all seem to be under the impression that it takes a long time to a.) order parts b.) sit down and put em together and c.) that they have to be updated ever other weekend. When the fact of the matter is sites like newgg and tiger direct make ordering super quick, putting them together is no more complex than putting legos together, and you wind up updating your PC once every couple of years not on a constant basis. I mean I built my rig in December 07 and it still runs every new game I've bought maxed out.

And you can get a pretty good computer premade for not much more than making it your self these days.  If I didn't find it fun I'd probably do that because the savings are not worth the time spent.

ME2 sales won't matter a lot since Bioware and EA know it will sell less because millions of ppl already have it for PC and 360.  What matters is the sale numbers of ME3 and DA 2 on the PS3.

If I had a PS3 I would definitely buy ME2 again. I already have all of the achievements in the Xbox 360 version, so it wouldn't hurt to pick up some trophies the next time I play through.

Of course not, that's such a waste. I'd rather save that money for Dead Space 2, Killzone 3 or something else.
