I own both ME1 & ME2 on Xbox, and I plan on getting ME2 on PS3, cuz its my preferred system. Hell the only reason I got an Xbox was to play Mass Effect. Though Im pretty bummed about ME1 not making the same transition. A remake would be nice
I was a hardcore Playstation fan and only owned PS consoles,
starting with PS One. Actually, the only reason that I bought the Xbox
360 was for the ME series. However, after playing on the Xbox, I decided
that I preferred the Xbox 360 controls over the PS3. (I like the fire
and aim buttons being on the left and right triggers.)
Beside having to pay for Xbox live gold, may I ask why you prefer the PS3 over Xbox 360?
Well before the Xbox 360 Slim (Is that what they call the new version?) came out, the PS3 was a better bang for your buck. You didn't have to pay an extra $100 for wi-fi. Blu-ray is nice too.
Now you say that you like the 360 controller over the doulshock, and I find that most FPS players would say the same thing. Me on the other hand, well I haven't played a good FPS since Perfect Dark on the N64 (Another reason I got an Xbox). Heh, Im old.

So I dont play 'em anymore. Anyway, I find the 360 controller to be bulky, the shape and position of the joysticks hurt my thumbs. And from an aesthetic point, its ugly as hell and that battery pack looks like the designers almost forgot about it just before launch. Also, you have to pay an extra $30 just for a rechargeable battery.
I used to be a Nintendo guy, but then they came out with the Gamecube.<_< So I moved to PlayStation. Personally, I find the xbox has no advantage over the PS3, so thats why its my system of choice. Heh, we've gone a little off topic here...
