That sounds promising, maybe they'll release the updated ME2 onto the PC and 360 when the GOTY version is released.

Looks cool almost makes me think about buying a ps3 for ME & ME3. But I'll stick to the PC. After all its the best game platform. Come on xboxers bite bite!!!!

This is good all around.  It'll increase sales of a critically acclaimed single player game that sold well but not as well as all those big multi-player shooters which a lot of peple are worried ME will evolve (or is that devolve) into.

I don't own a PS3 as of YET but I  would like to include that in my gaming experience someday and I'm a big enough ME fanatic that, yes, I'd likely buy it and play it again on PS3!

Im just wondering, does anyone know if the PS3 version of ME2 will have an optional install like the Xbox 360 version? The reason is because I have a small PS3 hard drive and I'd hate to be forced to install the game just to make it load faster. If anyone knows please reply to my post. Thanks.

Well done to PS3 owners and all that, but there are only 2 things I really care about

1) The fact that the comparison isn't great because Jacob does not look that poor on my xbox in that scene.

2) New Cerberus network content!

It does seem fishy to me , the IGN thing. ME2 never looked like the Xbox version they show, yes I used PC, but I played the Xbox demo. Looks shopped. The PS3 image lighting doesn't necessarily look better to my mind either, it just looks more forced. From memory the PC and Xbox version lie somewhere between, a more natural look but with the PC obviously being slightly better overall. Also, the framerate looks dodgy in the preview video, that could be just he video though.

I'm delighted that the game is getting the attention it deserves, I don't trust this preview at all though, for various reasons I've stated.

After having put more hours than is sane into 360 ME2 I'd have to say that the side by side is indeed a pretty accurate depiction of how Jacob looks on the console.

This is a little nitpicky, but am I the only one who sees "Kasumi: Stolen Memories" on the PS3 boxart, when it should should be "Kasumi: Stolen Memory." Anyway, back on topic...

Did it ever occur to you that the IGN video is a LOW res video that your watching on your computer? There is big difference between a website supposely HD preview and the real game running on a 40-50 inches HD TV. So yeah, it's possible both versions of the game will look better on your tv. No conspiration material in there.

1.  Agreed.  ME2 played and looked amazing on my 46" HD TV on a xbox but maybe it is just a bit sharper and brighter on PS3.  If so, cool for the PS3 owners!

2.  I've been itching for new content ever since I beat LotSB  with all SEVEN  of my Shepards.

LOL I'd watch that interview even if no information got out from it! LOL! Great job guys! I hope it sells well. I did my part about spreading the news and paying it off already. It better sell well! We finally get to see it on PS3 and get a peek of the graphics and engine of ME3 all in 1 go!

Killzone 2 and 3
Demons Souls
Valkyria Chronicles
God of War series
Superior version of ME2 and soon to be ME3

And more but that's all I can think up of now.
