Verner was completely glitched on the PC as it didn't recognize the route you talke with him in ME1. He said I pulled a gun on him when I went the Paragon route. Pissed me off.

I have had this problem evrytime i played. It's really annoying since i want to see the paragon way of things... And i doubt ther will be a fix for it now eather. 

He said the same thing for my Paragon Shep also, and I played both ME and ME2 on 360 so it's not just the PC. There was some other things like that, on my choices being diferent on ME2 from the choices I did in ME.

I mean if someone coming from Italy buy the game from a UK store, for example, shall the game run in Italian (subtitles, or even the spoken language)?

What about the person he was responding to Gibb? What was the need for them to be in this topic? Don't get me wrong, I agree with your sentiment that stupid 'console wars' are pathetic, but I can't understand why 360 owners need to come in here making such comments that FouCapitan made..



@GreyWarden36 It has the 'Paid for' missions DLC and Blood Dragon Armor on the disc, the free stuff is got from the Cerberus Network and there will possibly be some more free and paid for DLC bundles on release date from I gather from what Jesse Houston has said in the 'PS3 Exclusive Content Clarification' topic.



@MannaTheBeserk, I really don't know about this as am not sure how it works exactly. The disc will obviously work in your machine because it's Region 2. As to whether it will identify what country you are in and thus alter the language, I am not sure. Just out of curiousity why do you want to get the UK edition? (cheaper?)

1) The fact that the comparison isn't great because Jacob does not look that poor on my xbox in that scene.

My guess is that IGN has their Reference Levels setted wrong in the X-box display settings. They have it on Standard (which is 16-235 brightness steps) which is meant for old CRT TVs. They should have setted it to Expanded (which are PC levels, 0-255) which is used by PC monitors and supported by all LCD TVs. Having this wrong might result in washed out display (blacks are grey and contrast is dull). Or if you put PC levels on display that doesnt support them you get crushed blacks and burned out white details.

This can be debated, probaply. So far I havent heard good things from GT5 and people have been wondering where all that developement time has gone. Forza 3 is a bloody good racing game, Xbox 360 exclusive, and I hope to see some good comparisons between this and GT5.

Here's hoping BioWare can start working on all that bridging DLC it said it was going put out to connect the games together. LOTSB was really great, but it's pretty silent on that front since then.

I think someone on another topic (or maybe on another page of this one) commented on how that normandy video was just a poor video in general. if recording image of gameplay that can affect framerate as well. Although maybe that is just with such tech noobs (as far as recording gameplay footage is concerned) like me. I have a recording of me using the CAIN heavy weapon on PC weapon at the end of a certain level (not going to say which one) and in the following cut-scene it always amuses me how one of the lines Shep says has a stutter on it due to the recording. Whenever I hear the theme that is played in that scene it always reminds me of that line. I know that whenever I've done recordings the FPS has dropped from 60 to 30 in some areas. So perhaps the same happened in that video?

Edit: @Darth Trethon I agree, personally I think the whole 'exclusive' thing and people jumping up and down about it, is silly. Would I care if any of the PS3 exclusives went to other systems, no. Just means more people get to enjoy them and there are some I'm not bothered about anyway. Just like with the 360 exclusives. Some I wouldn't mind seeing but fine with them being exclusives, some I don't care about.

Main reason am happy for ME2 coming to the PC is because due to my current situation I can't afford to get my PC rig working again or get it replaced, whereas I can easily trade in some games so that I can afford to get ME2 on PS3. PC died before LotSB came out so am looking forward to playing that.

@Darastryx the Devs have stated that they are working on the bridging DLC, I reckon we'll see one in late Jan/early Feb and then maybe another one late May (just before E3). I imagine they'll want to get that out of the way before they heavily lay into the further promotion of ME3 so that they aren't giving any potential spoilers away that we might find out about in the DLC.

When ME2 came out, after the initial teaser trailer, we didn't see anymore IIRC until just before E3 and the teaser was out in Jan'09 (E3 Jun'09)

I also think that bioware should stick to their word and keep it exclusive, like they said when they were interview by Game Informer. "Mass Effect 2 is on Xbox and PC only" guess not everyone can stick to their word.

I'd love for you to explain this, and better yet, explain your logic behind thinking that the Playstation 3 will receive a "superior" version of Mass Effect 3.

If you bring up the statement by Jesse Houston where he said that Mass Effect 2 for the Playstation 3 will be using the "Mass Effect 3 Engine", then I will laugh my behind off relentlessly.  Mass Effect 3 will be using the same exact engine that Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 use and have been using; the Unreal Engine 3.

It's not going to be some brand new built from the ground up engine specifically dedicated for Mass Effect 3 on the Playstation 3.  So again, explain your completely illogical statement and reasoning.

Honestly...

It wouldn't be much like those at all. Mario and Zelda have been Nintendo exclusive for 20 years, and God of War has been Sony exclusive through 2 generations. Mass Effect 2 coming to PS3 is more like if Infamous 2 came out for Xbox in 2012.
