Good to see these. One curiosity I have about system requirements, including these, is what resolution they have in mind. I mean, different GPUs handle gaming at different resolutions, right? So to what screen resolution are those minimum and recommended settings tailered?

Will we be learning what sort of DX11 effects DA2 will make use of?

The only thing I'm iffy on is the processor. I have a 1.73GHZ i7.

That should be near recommend right?

I hope.

Huh.....interesting that DA2 only requires 7GB hard drive space, while DAO required 20GB and ME2 required 15GB.

Around 2.3~2.5

I don't like using Turbo though because I never see any actual increase other than one or two FPS.

Yeah add that to the fact that the PC is voiced (which should make the game bigger) and I'm not overly optimistic with the game's length. *Either that or the textures will be low res*

Hopefully my recently upgraded PC can run this. Just not too sure about the Direct X requirements.

The game must be very short at 7GB. This has me worried.

What are the recommended and minimum Operative Systems? I'm a stubborn git who refuses to remove his XP sp3.

Hmmmm...Awakening required 4GB of hard drive space, FWIW and ME1 required 12GB space. Yeah, something is up there- as Ryzaki mentioned, VO audio usually takes up a lot of space. Maybe they've got some fancy compression going on, I don't know. But even Jade Empire on PC was 8GB....

Maybe they didn't compress as much the first time? Blah, don't get me worried BW.

Perhaps the 7gb is a typo. that just seems awfully small. If it's textures that has been sacrificed, that would explain the lack of PC footage -- I am scared to think of what it would look like on my 1920x1080 monitor.

Hooray, I meet all of those requirements!

Perhaps having to replace the graphics card because Neverwinter Nights 2 made it explode was a blessing in disguise.

Is 32-bit Windows 7 really not supported ? I'm hoping that's a mistake on the OS list or lots of people will be stuffed.

That is odd they only mention 64bit Windows 7.

@Chris.

Is this 7Gb size accurate or maybe a typo?

Is Vista 64-bit supported? It was for DA:O, so I suspect it will be for DA2, but confirmation would be nice.

Oh, and I'd like to about the size thing too.

Thanks
