And Tali in ME1. I like her in ME2 but even in my present playthrough of ME1 I find her simply annoying.

Also don't like Thane very much. Maybe it's because I've never romanced him, but just don't find him all that interesting.
And I wish they had a friend option with Jacob. I refuse to romance him and he has like two dialogues if you choose not to go that way, which sucks.

Getting off topic! Jack is my least favourite, however I don't dislike her to the point where I want to kill her off, like Kaiden.

I don't like a lot of the cast of ME2, if you want me to be perfectly honest. Least favorite's definitely Miranda, thanks to her coldness and her desire for control and oh, yeah, the control chip comment. I can't trust her, and I also can't kill her off in the final mission.
She dies.
But then don't YOU and the other teammate die if she dies?
Or can you make it with only one teammember?
Shepard can make it safely back as the only survivor of the group going after the human reaper, because somebody aside from Joker will be waiting at the airlock to catch him if that situation happens.
As for the question of the topic.
Thane.. I really hate this character. Following Thane are Jack, Jacob and Grunt.

I get she has a very troubled past, but she still acts like a snotty rebellious teen most of the time. I find that attitude really grating so I never bring along any mission except her loyalty mission.

For character development: Garrus and Tali. Just like old times, yeah.
For lines: Jacob and Garrus. Extra clever debriefings and endless calibrations.
For appearance: Jacob and Miranda. While Miranda just needs to get normal armour and rid of ass shots, Jacob needs a diet, too.
For "forced friendship": Liara. The only squadmate who can't die for two games already, btw.
So, I think Mr. Taylor won the priiize

Zaeed is just plain two-dimensional.
Jack is two-dimensional unless you're male and you pursue a relationship. Since that's not the case with most of my playthroughs, she just gets on my nerves.

I liked Jacob outside of the romance *shudder* Although he has some interesting racial slurs for turians if you dump him...
Just when I thought I couldn't like him less!
Also want to add Liara to my previous list. In my last ME1 playthrough I recruited her after Virmire and didn't speak to her outside of the required post mission dialogue. Of course, ME2 still acts as though we were the best of friends. (Damn it, my last Shepard doesn't hug! Certainly not freaky Alien chicks she barely knows.) This fact also makes her seem Conrad level creepy, stalkery.

Yeah he did. If there is a love triangle and you pick Garrus, he goes 'that cuttlebone?! I guess you two have a past.'
But if you go to Garrus and pick Jacob, Garrus just says it is probably for the best, and he doesn't want to be involved in a love triangle.' (Of course I watched these scenes, would never romance Jacob *cringe*)
But I do feel sorry for the guy, let's hope he gets more character development in ME3 eh?
As for Liara, I felt that in the first one she was just fanservice, I didn't use her in battle much because I am always a biotic. But then in ME2... I was like wow, Liara you are totally badass!! And now I really like the girl.

And sometimes a forced romance too. I know that's more the fault of a glitch (a common one, from what I've read) rather than her character, but it's annoying to turn her down by saying "I'm not interested" only to have her act like she's in a relationship with my Shepard. I didn't like her before that, and the romance trap just made it so much worse.mineralica wrote...

It's a glitch? All my 5 no romancing Liara playthrough she didn't understand neutral or renegade lines for first time - Shepard should deny twice.Kim Shepard wrote...

And my problem is that no matter how you feel about T'Soni, Shepard (especially femShep - thank you, Hale, another case of creepy voice acting) shouts "Liara's in there!" in a so worried tone, calming her down after fight on Azure and makes a main informational broker in a galaxy. Pretty strange.

The way Jack insulted and talked back to Shepard used to get on my nerves too, even though I thought her character was interesting and liked her background story. I've been replaying a few scenes with different dialogue choices, and that doesn't happen nearly as much. Jack's always been about halfway on my list of favorites - I like her character, but there are other characters I like more. She's my second-favorite female squadmate though. And sometimes a forced romance too. If we can include her (was she a temporary squadmate in LotSB? Don't know, haven't played it), Liara is definitely on the very bottom of the list, hands down. I will give Bioware credit, though, on a scale of 1 to 10 Liara was easily in the negatives. With what I've seen of LotSB on youtube and such, she's about a +2, maybe.
If we're not including Liara, I would say Miranda is my least favorite. Annoying voice, annoying accent, repulsive ass shots, and so on.
I'd prefer to end this on a positive note, though, so aside from Garrus (my absolute favorite ME squadmate, period), I'd have to say my favorites were Jack, Legion, Mordin, and Thane. And as a friend, I rather like Jacob.

though I am opposite to you Neria Rose, Miranda is my most friendly simply because that character is the most interesting and has the most depth to her character by far whilst not just being unusual for being an alien

I don't see the problem.
Liara expresses her interest
Shepard: - Yes, I'm interested, too
- Let's be friends
- No!!!
Option 1 continues the romance, option 2/3 not. I think it's rather obvious
