My default PC is a male city elf rogue, who views his service as a Warden as a way to bolster the standing of all city elves, through whatever means are available. Stoic, diplomatic and generally good, but not above theft from villians like Howe, and generally not merciful to unprincipled foes like bandits and assassins. Went with Harrowmont over Bhelen, Caridin over Branka, Dalish over Werewolves, chose Alistair as king sans Anora, romanced Morrigan and did the DR. Also chose to save Amaranthine and slay the Architect.



Believes wardens have to offer a unique moral compass to guide others, and generally tries to weaken but not destroy the Chantry-- turned over ancient texts to Chantry scholar, but killed Genitivi to keep the Urn secret.



Like others, I feel obligated to bring in a non-human save just to balance out elves and dwarves being unplayable.

I'll probadly import just about all of my 9( 6 of which are human noble...5 males, 1 female) origin n awakening saves and just get rid of the other 7 saves that I didn't import if only cuz the ones with awakening involved have further choices...though since I did not play through the witch's hunt...it will probadly be assumed in the game that my warden(s) are still alive in fereldan somewhere running a amok...

I'll import all six origins eventually (unless it turns out I don't want to replay DA2 as often as DA1) but my human noble princess-consort will be first up. After that, I will be sorely tempted by the only one that has Drunk!Alistair, if the rumour about his appearance turns out to be true.

My female city elf, I like my other charactors but I think of her as my "canon" charactor, largely because she was my first playthrough.

Human Noble, but I don't think the origin type will make any major affect on DA 2.

Seraphina Cousland (Female) -> My only complete playthrough from Origins to Witch Hunt (and everything else in between). A few highlights: Dark Ritual, Anora Queen, Drunk Alistair, Dalish slaughtered in favor of werewolves.

I think the boon you ask for at the end which is partially dependent on your Origin could certainly make a difference. For instance I can't see a free Circle not having some impact in DA2.

As for myself my main "canon" character is a female city elf rogue. Though I plan on importing a human female mage as well.

I'll throw up links to my DA2 Import album. I'm going to have to lay down some ground rules, as I intend to review DA2, and am going to be doing all three classes. I have three females and three males of each class, though.

My first PC was a human mage, pretty much a good guy (favored Harrowmont and Caridin, etc.), who thought that the DR was the same sort of arrogance that almost led the Tevinter mages to destroy the world, and also thought that he'd rather die than let Anora give Ferelden a rerun of Loghain's unprincipled rule. Obviously, the combination of these beliefs didn't work out too well for him personally.



I figure I'll go with his save, since I don't have any particular reason to choose one save over another until I know more.

chose to keep up the mantle of warden commander after the blight and became the teyrn of Gwaren

married alistair to anora and saved loghain.

I would import my very ambitious, but kind human noble. But after having spent 70 hours on all side-quests and DLC. The ending bugged. Although I had procalimed that I would marry Anora and become Prince-consort, the epilogue didn't recognize this at all. Instead Anora ruled by herself. If that wasn't bad enough, when I imported my Warden into awakenings, not only was he still not royal, but Alistair had become King (WTF?). That kinda ruined the entire immersion and role-playing of that character.



So I will import my well... Morally backwards female blood mage/arcane warrior/battlemage. She romanced Alistair, got him on the throne, put Anora in prison, got no royal title herself, but in my head she kept influencing him nonetheless. She hates the Chantry more than anything, she enjoyed killing possessed templars at the Circle and as a boon she freed the mages and most imprtantly the epilogue didn't bug...

I think I will import my Dalish rogue first.. but I need to finish her playthrough to do that.

For some reason I think Dalish will be the best as an import because it is in fact the clan from the Dalish origin that returns in DA2.



Other possible imports:

* 2 female bloodmages, don't know if it will make sense to import them actually. I believe it has been confirmed that the 'free the Circle'-boon will not happen (Chantry is against it).

* 2 queen Couslands, they don't feel that special to me, though it might be interesting to see what the 'side with Branka' and 'side with the werewolves' will mean for DA2.

* 1 city elf, besides the 'free the alienage' not that special.

* 1 Orlesian Warden, I'd like to import this one as well, so I can see what they did with the decisions from Origins.

Dalish elf. First character. played when everything was an on the spot decision without knowing the consequences. Killed Conner, Zathrian sacrificed, ashes still intact, murder knifed Genitivi, sided with mages, Harrowmont as king, Anora over Alister, Loghain over Alistair (spared him, drunk Alistair haha) romance morrigan, got demon baby.

Told sten to leave after a fight at the ashes, Zev betrayed me...dead. all others are ok.

did awakening, saved city, sided with Architect.

Went through mirror with Morrigan (never learned my lesson...being Dalish and all)

I hope it does work, my mage did that too and then in awakenings I couldn't ever discuss it with Anders.
