It's one of only two playthroughs I've completed, the other being human mage, and although the Amell connection with Hawke is interesting, I far prefer my HN playthrough.

For my X-box 360 version, my first import is very likely going to be my very first DA:O character, a male city elf dual wielding rogue. He was generally a neutral good character with a tendency to benefit his people first and then others second, but was never cruel or downright mean. He is a bann of the alienage where Zevran is currently staying with him ; ) Generally did all the 'good' options except I had Connor killed (the feeding the knife ears comment went too far) and little did I know Alistair would betray me for sparing Loghain (to me the more to the army the better). Still though, it made for an interesting playthrough
The two other likely candidates include a female human noble two-hand warrior who became Queen and did all the 'lawful good' options and my male dwarven commoner who was a convert to the human Chantry (he resents his people's ways and sees human standards as better, after being a casteless he needed that divine support and voice of equality), was very good and is quite possibly the first dwarven templar in Thedas history. He also was my only character to sacrifice himself.
Others include:
Xbox 360:
-Female chaotic good dalish elf archer
-Male chaotic neutral human arcane warrior/blood mage
-Male lawful evil dwarven noble warrior tank
-Female neutral evil dual wielding city elf
-Male chaotic neutral human noble warrior tank
As for my PC version I only have two complete playthroughs so far (going for one of each like I did with the 360 version). I have my lawful neutral male human noble tank who became king (or prince-consort) who was a real womanizer and my chaotic good female dwarven commoner two-hand warrior who had a thing for elves...and Alistair.

My Dwarf Noble. I want to see if anyone talks about him being a paragon (the lack of any response annoyed me in Awakening and GoA) also want to see if there are any major effects from pushing the darkspawn further back
From what I understand, one of the Dwarf origins boon is bugged as well in the epilogues. Many people are saying that they're not able to get more soldiers down in the Deep Roads when you requested it but I don't know anything about the paragon being affected as well. You might want to check, I hope I'm wrong.

So he's the exact oposite of what the Chantry tells people mages are like "Power hungry monsters who only care about themselves."
Hawke will continue this legacy and hopefully with the both mages doing good thing the world will look at mages differently.

In the end, he let a certain witch go and fulfill her destiny though the "gate", he encouraged a nice man to become king (and got him married with a queen in the process), while the hero himself continued to rebuild the Order with a beautiful redhead at his side

My Human Mage will be my import parcially because of the family angle that will be in the game but also to continue a sub-plot that I've been doing with all my mages. The world fears mages but my DA:O mage was the kindest most benevolent person in the world. He helped everyone and always sided with the 'good' choice (Bhelin I felt was good for the Dwarven people so I picked him) In Awakening he was the first Mage to ever be given authority in Fereleden and once the threat of the Darkspawn were delt with he gave his power back to the people and lived the rest of his life with Leliana.
So he's the exact oposite of what the Chantry tells people mages are like "Power hungry monsters who only care about themselves."

That is if the epilogue bug doesn't screw up your import.

But I am definitely going to be importing a human mage next, just for the Amell thing, even though, in all likelihood, there'll be maybe one line of dialogue about it. Not expecting much there, but I enjoy the little things.

Luckily I don't think my mage had the glitch when the game was over. Anora and Urving both mentioned the Circle being freed and when the mages moved into Orzamar the chantry didn't do anything. Also all the details of my save were properly transfered over when I played Awakening so I'm pretty sure my Mage made it through alright.

Though I may go with the female human mage, for story reasons. Y'know, having the Hawkes as one big world-shattering family of death throwing blood mages.

Took the words right out of my mouth. On my first playthrough, I will definitely be importing my fem!Aeducan. And the lack of response to her annoyed me in Awakening, as well... I did like Sigrun's recognition, but other than that... :/

Oh you made Anora queen to rule alone? I think your fine then because you only get the bug when you make Alistair king, even when married to Anora. But I would rather have hardened Alistair king and have him be marry to Anora without having any issues with my boon.

The goodhearted witty temperemental aggressive elven Arcane Warrior Blood Mage and Battle Mage, and also my first character... I possibly did almost everything in that one so I have faith that that's the most trustworthy to import.... though I still need a proper Witch hunt save...

I played all six origins (Female Human Noble, Human Male Magi, Male City Elf, Female Dalish Elf, Male Dwarf Noble, Female Dwarf Commoner) just to see what the difference between each part of the game is like. It'll be cool to see that there will be more differences between each origins and what will the boons be like during DA2 (I choose the Origin specific ones on all six though I may change one of them just to see what its like).

-Romanced Morrigan
-Broke up with Morrigan and kept her ring
-Got together with Leliana
-Spared Loghain, ruining his friendship with Alistair
-Convinced Alistair to rule alongside Anora
-Had a god baby with Morrigan
-Killed the Architect
-Stayed behind with Leliana instead of following Morrigan through the mirror
I really loved this playthrough.

As such, I've always had one Canon Playthrough, and that's my M!Amell with Leliana as his sole Love, his Bro Alistair on the Throne married to Anora, and with Amell having taken one for the team and having slept with Morrigan for the DR (Hey, it felt dramatic) and with him traveling Thedas with Leliana once the Archdemon was defeated. So, my port over will be very stable and rather straight forward; well, other then Amell's bastard child possibly being used in some Grand Epic conflict between Mysticals and Mundanes.
I'm very much looking forward to mention of all the events that took place in Origins and how my Mage effects/effected the world. Other plot points ported over are:
-Circle Tower Saved, Mages and Irving alive.
-Warden's Keep purged of both Undead Dryden and it's Blood Mage.
-Ostagar redeemed. Cailan laid to rest on the Pyre.
-Orzammar under the stern rule of the youngest Aeducan but without the power of the Anvil behind him.
-Redcliff saved, everyone alive. Connor saved, no Demon concerns. Isolde (Tegaaaaan!) alive. Aemon alive.
-Daelish saved. The Lady freed. The Wolves restored they're Humanity.
-Urn of Sacred Ashes in the Hands of the Chantry.
-Loghain put to Death.
And that, I believe, pretty much sums it up. Again, interested to see how these choices shape the world in Dragon Age 2.
