I think it would be Wicket since Edi can pretty much fly the ship when joker is not or asleep he could become a party member

With his glass bones? Might not work so well.

how about this idea for ME3! EDI´s character has progessively gotten interesting through the story. Why not take it an extra step? Have EDI become a humanoid. It would give her more of a realistic character and more inportant to the story. In addition, the joker romance could evolve much more

No for the Joker squaddie, to frail and he enjoys piloting too much.

Don't dee EDi being put into a humanoid body but maybe change the holographic representation of her - may end up being too Cortana-esque though.

Oooh we could make him have a mech body and like upload EDI as his gun and then get another AI to man the ship and then it'll make the game great.

In ME1, Joker was a pilot. In ME2, Joker was a pilot.

Hm... I wonder if this pattern will continue. My guess is "yes."

My idea?  Dig the sig.

EDI with a remotely human form = too much Cortana.

Joker is not meant for combat.

What if Mordin cures him?

I doubt it can be "cured." If anything, Mordin may be able to help figure out how to make him a little stronger, but he's had brittle bones all of his life. Even the most magical of space magicians couldn't just go BAM. CURED! It's a process.

Tell that to the Thane fangirls. *runs away and hides*

(jk.  couldn't resist)

Even if he didn't have glass bones, I wouldn't want him as a squad mate. Too much sass to be at my side.

Hahaha, well, honestly? This Thane fangirl isn't expecting Mordin to wave his magic wand. As long as Thane's in ME3 in some capacity for the sake of those who romanced him, I don't mind if he's not cured.

He would be comically awesome and i could have shepard make comments like "down boy down" at some point but damn Poor Joker would die on day 2 >> frankly i'm suprised they let him join the Alliance Navy that must've been a hellish Legal Nightmare

you know brittle bones and all

good point admiral. I liked the trailer, but the london eye still intact when lower building were destroyed kind of not feeling that at all. That would be one of the first places I would take down.

Joker has no combat training, is partially crippled to the extent he can hardly walk and even EDI concedes he is a superior pilot, if I recall. Why in the world would we want him as a squad mate. I give you...

And Cheez. I significantly doubt we see a Bartarian squad mate. They detest humanity, are considered a rouge race and are known pirate and slavers. Abruptly having one join out of a "change of heart" feels... cliched and unnecessary.

@Admiral - I was going to say "I figured," but that sounded better in my head. :D I was just voicing my aversion to any kind of sci-fi healing magics.

@Bourne: Not all batarians are bad, and liking humans isn't necessary to want to preserve all intelligent life in the galaxy. One could come along strictly to protect his own race's interests or for teh moniez.

Additionally, consider the lulz.

Aaaaand that's enough off-topic shenanigans. *flies away on jetpack*

Generally speaking, soldiers with brittle bone disease and no combat training don't fare well

Why am I hearing that saren will make an appearance in ME3? The dude is long gone, but there are rumors that the collectors are reviving him for the 3rd installment
