Whoops, I had meant to reply to this earlier. Anyhow, I cannot say since I have yet to read any of the novels. I ought to do so at some point. In any case, I am soon going to work on a fanfic that offers a more in-depth looks once my muse comes around. Short version, if it entailed discharging a full clip on surrendering Batarian with the sole intention of not killing them, a pistol whip like never before and possibly burning them with the ammunition. Then yes, she had a Saren moment.

And people wonder why the Alliance does not document everything. :P

O.O  Actually (and correct me if I'm wrong, Kim), I think Saren just snapped the guy's neck after torturing him.  He didn't burn the poor bastard alive, so congrats.  You just surpassed Saren

Well, Saren did torture the guy for a long time before breaking his neck, and when that batarian passed out from the torture, Saren waited until he woke up and tortured him again. xD He didn't use fire though. (By the way, my MainShep really enjoyed reading Revelation. So cool that the books were available in-game for Shepard to buy.)

"Cerberus allowed me to get the job done.  I accept that, thanked them and sent them packing.  I think there is more to them than meets the eye, but I can't discuss that right now.

The Alliance is the Alliance.  They protect and serve.  They are a necessary component in the war against the Reapers.

I am a Council Spectre.  That being said, they tend to disagree with the way that I do things.  They also are ignoring the Reaper threat.  I will hope that they get their head out... Ouch!  I mean I trust they will be the driving force behind the defeat of the Reaper invasion.

*Aside to her OIC, whispering*  What? ...well I wouldn't feel that way if you'd just let me kill the turian councilor..."

"If Cerberus wants to join the fight, they have the resources and I welcome them.  Trust, well, lets just say their idea or right and my idea differ slightly.

I know the Alliance will be there to back me in the coming invasion.  I know they will do the right thing.

I believe the Council will be instrumental in collecting all the council races together to meet and defeat the Reaper threat.  I will go further and as a Council Representative I will be Contacting any and every other available power.  We are building an army, and this army is going to have to include everyone.  I trust they realize I am up to the task and we will prevail. "

"Cerberus - can't be trusted.  There is more there, I am sure of it.  Too sneaky and way too many resources.

Alliance - Good organization and I served them well.  They haven't let me down... yet.

Council Spectre.  Need I say more?

*walks away mumbling*  why all the questions?"

Trust? Who do I trust, well... let's just say when it came down to being there for me, I found it ironic that it was the group whom had allegedly put me through hell on Akuze. The fact is, if they hadn't done that I don't think I would be the man I am today. Sure they've done some questionable things in their time and naturally had some anti-alien fanatics join their cause misunderstanding what they are trying to achieve. I believe in the phrase that 'you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs'.

If there is one decision I ponder of in my past it is that of the council. Sure that annoying Turian pissed me off, but at least he had some balls unlike the bunch of lily white people that have taken his and the other twos places. Next time I show up at the Citadel they better damn well show their faces to me, I don't give a damn what anyone says about what I've done, the only ones who seem to take my story about the Reapers are those who are with me on the Normandy or a couple of other people.

As for the Alliance, well, I used to think highly of them. I was brought up surrounded by Alliance members, nowadays it seems my friends in the Alliance are growing thin, some of the hierarchy wanting to distance themselves from Cerberus continuing to claim we aren't connected to them in anyway. People below them believing every word they say, even Ash, but hey I got to show some respect to her. She is just sticking up for what she believes in, even if some of it is bull. I know same could be said of me with regards my trust of The Illusive Man, but way I see it regarding him and me, it works both ways. He knows damn well I ain't someone to mess with.

Long as he keeps with the agenda we have of dealing with the Reapers I'll trust him. I trust in my squad more than anything of the others. They've been with me through hell and back, the reapers are still out there and I if the Council and Alliance won't help me in stopping them then I guess I'll just have to find some people outside the official channels who will help.
