The Overlord DLC was heart wrenching... I felt so bad for the poor guy!

I was scared for Liara at the beginning of LoTSB DLC when she was in that exploding building

Miranda and her confused feelings with her sister

And sending Garrus as leader not realizing whether he would come back in the suicide mission. Edge of my seat the whole time!

Garr's encounter with the rocket scared the ****** out of me.

Here are some moments that left me emotionally moved; I did not include anything I didn't experience in my game:

ME1:
- Bring Down the Sky ending (Paragon)
- Post-Virmire scene
- Talking to Vigil

ME2:
- Shepard's death
- Tali discovering her dad's body
- Kasumi's mission ending
- Re-uniting with Ashley with my MaleShep
- Re-uniting with Wrex
- Thane telling my FemShep that he will watch over her
- Thane crying during his romance encounter
- Suicide mission theme playing during and prior to the infiltration of the Collector Base\\
- Reading Thane's romance-specific letter in his LOTSB dossier

That about right? ^_^

Suicide Mission, hands down. I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time hoping I'd done everything right. And when I heard the 'ding' of the achievement and saw the words "No One Left Behind"? I jumped up out of my chair and screamed for joy.

Most awesome moment EVER. The most excited and nervous I'd ever been about anything in a video game.

The mother on the Alerai logging one final message to her son (Made me tear up)

Revealing that Garrus was Archangel (:o:O:O)

And the suspense of the suicide mission the first time since Miranda was unloyal and my friend told me someone would die if anyone was unloyal)

oh and finding out Miranda wouldn't betray you if she was unloyal (What do you- I saved the base for NOTHING? :pinched:)

"For the good of humanity" allows you to distance your consience from a great number of things.

Me2:

Meeting Wrex, "Shepard! My friend!" *nostalgic tear* Probably my favourite moment

The whole damn suicide mission, I wasn't spoiled for it and accidentally killed off Mordin, had a mini freak out and restarted the whole thing because of it. Waiting to make sure everyone was okay was intense, I was definitely expecting another Virmire - so glad there wasn't one.

When you must retake the Quarian ship from the Geth, the one vidoc that has the mother recording her last moments...."be safe mommy loves you" before you hear the Geth gun her down...wow that really shook me

Going through the Omega-4 Relay

Definitely your second choice and possibly the third one as well.

Virmire topped it for me. The first time I played ME1, I seriously OMG'ed out loud when I found out I had to sacrifice a squadmate.

This. ME2 had some string pullers like Shepard dying at the beginning was obviously tough to watch, but the Virmire sacrifice really made me stop and think. I seriously had no idea what to do and honestly thought I had f'ed things up the first time. I mean permanently losing one of your six party members is pretty big. Not only are you losing a character class, but you're also losing a character you've had with you for some time. I never thought a game would make me really stop and think what I was about to do in-game.

The SR-2 reveal was beautiful. Almost made me cry.

When Tali found her father made me sad too.

Paragon ending to Overlord DLC.

Hmm...Overlord DLC made me furious. So spittingly angry at Archer that I almost missed the interrupt. I wish I'd had the choice to just shoot him.

Other than that, probably the two games' respective endgames. I jumped for joy at the end of the suicide mission. And I sat there flabbergasted and completely stunned when I talked Saren into capping himself.

Things that give me chills: ME 1 Intro, Spectre Induction, Meeting Sovereign on Virmire, ME 2 Intro, SR2 Reveal, Finding out Archangel was Garrus, Overlord, Suicide Mission Approach Run.

Things that made me try to hold back tears (or just make me emotional) : ME 1 Ending, Bring Down the Sky Ending, Meeting Toombs (Sole Survivor ME 1), Virmire, ME 2 Intro, Overlord Ending, Kasumi LM Ending, Tali's Father, Losing People in the Suicide Mission, Lair of the Shadow Broker (first time I truly cared about Liara).

Tough Desicions (Things I really thought over): Virmire, Garrus Mission in ME 1, Rachni on Noveria , N7: Javelin Missiles Launched in ME 2, Collector Base Desicion, Legions Loyalty Mission (let the heretics die fighting for what they believe in or brain wash them and undermine my personal belief of standing up for what i believe in)

Mass effect 1:

- Shepard crawling out of the rubble to some great music

- Talking to Vigil

- Going to the Citadel for the first time it was just a magical moment in gaming for me

- Kirahe's speach actually gave me a lump in my throat

- The side quest "I remember me" probably the saddest side quest in Mass Effect ever

Mass effect 2:

- The SR2 reveal

- Finding out Archangel is Garrus

- Meeting Wrex again

- The end of Kasumi's loyalty mission was quite touching for me for personal reasons but even if you can't releate it's a very nice storyline.

- Seeing David for the first time in Overlord. It drew the biggest reaction from me for anything i've seen in a game i actually felt sick. I thought about it later on like "it's just a game" but i couldn't help but hate what Dr.Archer did to him.

- The messege from the Rachni Queen

i've had a few in my playthroughs of both games. most of them are from me2 though. lets see, in no particular order:

tali finding her father in her loyalty mission, made me choke up a little bit.

the farewell message on the computer console in tali's mission with the quarian saying goodbye to her family. gave me chills.

the entire normandy crash site dlc.  i had an overwhelming feeling of sadness when i played through it the first time.  the messages from pressley were a very nice touch.  but, out of this entire dlc, collecting dog tags hit me the hardest being a military vet myself.  i actually had to step away from my desk for a few minutes because i almost broke down.

meeting wrex on tuchanka. i was like "F**K YA!!!!"

finding out that archangel was actually garrus. same response as my getting reunited with wrex.

seeing garrus gunned down by the gunship in his loyalty mission. i was like "NOO!!!!!! I JUST GOT HIM BACK!!! YOU CAN'T KILL HIM ALREADY!!!!"

hearing the recording from legion when the geth asked "does this unit have a soul?"

and lastly, the ending to overlord dlc. never was i so horrified at a video game than what i was when i saw this my first time around. i still get wellings of anger everytime i play it and see it.  i just wanna shoot dr. archer sooo bad.

-The Vigil scene. That guy really knows how to let your imagination do all the work in scaring the hell out of you.

-ME1's final level - Me: OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD ALL LIFE IS GOING TO END!!1!1!!!

-Romancing Jack and then rejecting her just before the SM - it was actually painful to click the dialogue options. Horrible.

Overlord DLC was one of the most emotional moments in all media, let alone just ME or video games
