Bioware you had better not screw over the ME2 romances like you did the ME1 ones.

Please, oh PLEASE let Shepard and their ME2 love stay together in ME3. PLEASE continue the romance plots in ME3 (and remain TOGETHER together too, not the "personal interests" crap that seperates Shep and Liara). If ME3 utterly ruins the ME2 romances like ME2 ruined the ME ones... I'm going to be so unbelievably upset and angry. If Garrus/Shepard or Tali/Shepard's relationship gets tossed under a bus and run over... I won't buy the game. And, I'll die a lot inside.

That's the general consensus, pretty much. Anything less than a Lair of the Shadow Broker reunion simply won't do. Horizon was an embarrassment, and not because it was short.

Which is why we need VS DLC. Even though I hate Kaishley Willenko.

Yeah I agree, the 2 minute reunion on Horizon that ended with them storming off, and the e-mail, was a blatantly obvious really crappy lack of effort and poor writing... not that either Kaidan or Ashley ever appealed to me very much to begin with but still.

If things get screwed up with my beloved Garrus or Tali I'll be completely heartbroken. And My Sheps just cant lose them they love them soo much. I don't care so much about any "plot" as much as I care about them just staying together and loving each other. Being happy together like they were meant to be  :(

I agree. This has to happen, considering ME3 is the final part of the trilogy and there is no room for sit-backs. Everything has to be dealt with equally well, including the romantic subplots.

yeah i agree with keeping the romance but i would still buy the game even if they they did another 2 minute reunion as long as the gameplay and the main story gets better and if the romance is the only reason you buy this game thats a waste of 60 bucks cause you could just find love for real its great trust me

I had no problem with the small reunions in ME2 and I'm positive BW saved the best for ME3 or for a great DLC mission look at LOTSB.

By the way, what does VS stand for? Virmire Survivor?

I was satisfied with Liara in LotSB, so if that trend continues, I'm content.

As romance options, I don't care much about the VS or how they were handled. Ash be dead and Kaiden is my brah.

Don't care. The Horizon crap was disappointing and not good enough. I want my Shep to still be able to fight alongside their love.

Horizon was evil. I didn't care too much for Kaidan to start with. I mean he was all right, but as romances go, how much is he going to ramble on about himself? And then he had to be asked to comfort Shepard. Some boyfriend he is. Horizon did entirely stink though, and is the precise reason a lot of people moved on to ME2 romances. Half-hearted email apologies don't cut it, lads and lasses. Especially with Kaidan saying he doesn't know who you are, and thinks your'e lying, but maybe he and Shep can get together again sometime...?

Yeah. Let's see something better as a resolution. I worry there'll be negative effects for cheating on Kaidan, but guess what? I probably won't be romancing him in my new playthroughs. And given the general reaction to Horizon/The Email, I'd guess a lot of people will be annoyed if they're punished for cheating on Kaidan.

I felt like BioWare did what they could do with the ME1 LI's. And they'll do what they can with the ME2 ones. The problem is, most of you don't really understand what you're asking of them. And trying to hold them hostage with your demands is patently immature and unreasonable.

How is it unreasonable to ask for a little effort and kindness enough to NOT ruin Shepard love?

Because from a plot stand point what did you expect from the VS LI? They're alliance through and through, and they were with you for all of Ceberus' crap (if you did it) in ME1. To you them you betrayed them, also they can't really just go AWOL to join you now can they? For an ME2 reunion it was fine, for ME3 as well though, unexceptable.

How is it possible for someone whose Shep had a romance in ME1 and/or ME2 not to sign? :)

Well oh well, that still shows a lack of effort and it utterly ruined the point of even pursuing them in ME1. But there's not going to be anything like that getting between Garrus/Shep or Tali/Shep, is there!??! There'd better not be! Theyd still better be together and able to fight side by side in ME3!!!

Besides, "working" for Cerberus is kind of something that Bioware forced us into. If they really loved Shepard it wouldn't matter.

Bioware has said before that the reason they kept the ME1 LIs out of Shep's squad was because they wanted everyone in the ME2 squad to be able to die, but they didn't want us to even have the ability to possibly kill the ME1 LIs off because they're too important. So they found a way to keep them out of the line of fire.

Do you know what that means? Virmire Survivor and Liara (and probably Wrex) are more important than all the other squad members, who we can kill off at our leisure.

Have a little faith in the the people who pioneered RPG romances. They'll deliver.

The way I see it is that part of the reason they kept the ME1 LIs back(besides to keep them alive) is so that the ME2 LIs will have a chance to develop. They can't keep the ME2 LIs out of ME3 because there will be no 4th game to make up for it. Every LI has to be given some closure(hopefully they become squadmates). And I really don't see why Garrus and Tali would leave Shepard at this point. They were with you when you were in the Alliance, they trusted you enough to be with you while you were with Cerberus.. I don't see a reason for them to not want to be with Shepard unless Shepard starts taking down some Turians/Quarians or something. So I hope we get some real closure with the LIs.

Well Garrus and Tali most certainly are not dead, they're still mah Shep's loverboy/lovergirl and I want it to stay that way in ME3.

Yeah, they're alive for me too and Garrus is my main LI. So hopefully we can have them in our squad again.

I agree and agree. I were kinda disappointed not that much though. I loved Mass Effect 1 and 2, I hope they do more and better in the final, but it won't be the end. I hope we do see and be with our LI's in 3 have a ceromony, even live with. We will and hopefully have the freedoms to choose and what we wish. I hope they make it fair and great, be best of the best. It may be loving, emotional, sad and will be fun, amazing and exciting. :)
