I can't trust giant spacebugs. Don't regret it either once she starts growling at me.
Though I do wish it was brought up in ME2 instead of ignored.
If you spare her, it does come up, but I figure you mean that ya mean reaffirmation that it was a bad idea?

That's the problem with the Renegade choices. The Galaxy never learns how much of mess it's been saved from.
You know I did a video on these things right? And there's a reason why no one learns about them. Because typically there's no one left alive to tell anyone, especially if you're a Renegade. In the case of the Rachni Queen, I'll bet money the Council and the Board of Executives on Noveria had the whole fiasco suppressed. So technically, the only one on Noveria who could tell anyone or acknowledge what you did was the Queen
Oh, and just for shameless self promotion: http://social.biowar...5/index/5457888

That said, I'm going to do something drastic. I freed the Rachni queen. I spoke to her messenger (Who, for the record ISN'T Shiala. Those who say she is are getting the events on Feros and Noveria muddled). I'm going to trust that she'll stand by her word and back me up when I call on them for help to stomp some Reaper face.

The Reapers attack Earth.
Awesome.
How does it end?
I could tell you but then I would spoil the ending for everyone and I dont think anyone wants that, guess you will just have to find out for yourself.
Alright, I'll do it then.
Shepard - Reapers: 3:1
Shepard wins.

The statement I just made is just as plausible but just as bullheaded because we haven't seen the end result yet.

Hey, I kept the base you know. And I saved the Rachni. Stop argueing outside the current context. Just because two options are both colored red does not mean you can assume they are always chosen together.Wolfknight581 wrote...
I hope you're happy renegades, you are now effectively handing yourself to the reapers by using the collector base.

****CARE SPOILER > You meet Shiala in ME2 and she tells you that she is working for the Rachni queen. She delivers you a message from the queen where is stated that the queen is grateful and won't forget Shepard saving har species. Help to save the humanity (alongside the whole galaxy) seems like kinda adequate payback.<

That's not Shiala.
Shiala is elsewhere on Illium, doing something else.

No matter what, the people who killed the Rachni will lose. Either they lose an awsome ally for the final battle, or they lose on on potential missions to play.

And........by what do you base that assumption on?
And what makes you think that it is a mere assumption?
If you worked for Bioware I would believe this but seeing how you don't have the admin thing under your name a call Shenanigans on you good sir.

If you made the Rachni extinct by killing the Rachni Queen in ME1, then Renegade Shepard will not get any more "bugz to kill", thus causing Renegade Shepard to have a mental breakdown due to a lack of stress relief.
So a message to all renegades- save the Queen. If she keeps to her word you get a strong ally. If she betrays you you'll get to "Find more bugs to kill" (thus fulfilling Renegade Shep's sadistic urges!).
Also save the Collector base. That way we can create Rachni Reapers with control chips implanted and send them into London to slay some Cuttlefish.

It's just as well that he got slain by Turians then.
