Hello,
ME2 is crashing every time i get to a specific point on the Shadow Brokers ship (the engine room with all the moving blocks). Only thing i have tried so far is restarting the mission and that crashed in the same spot.
Help appreciated.

I would suggest re-installing the Shadow Broker DLC. Consistent crashes like this usually mean a corrupt file somewhere. (Given that it seems more likely things were corrupt during download than during the install, I would suggest downloading the installer again first.)
I don't have much experience mucking about with DLC, so I'm afraid I'm not sure what the best way to remove a DLC is, if indeed you need to remove it before you can re-install it. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable on that will be by here.

Are you using the affinity fix by any chance? I had similar problem in Kasumi's mission, disabling the fix did the trick.

I had it crash on me once in that part. Try restarting the mission if you haven't created a save point just before that part and keep reloading it until you pass through the room. If that doesn't work you should try playing in windowed as that fixed my crashing in a specific part of Illium.

Lets see if this helps. Delete the SHadow broker dlc. Thed delete all entrier pertaining to shadow broker dlc in your windows registry. Then download dlc again from another site. And reinstale it again. Hope this helps.

I am having exactly the same issue. When Liara start talking how incredible the ship is my game crashes every single time.
Fortunately reloading usually fixes the problem but it is pretty annoying to get the same error over and over again.
I have already tried reinstalling the DLC but it did not help.
