She was asked by another twitter user:

@Y_Strahovski Are you allowed to say if you're doing a Mass Effect 3 voice over? We're dying to know.

She replied:

@Snacpack no... But I'm doing The Third Birthday... :)

:crying::crying:

Or...this could just mean she's saying that she's not allowed to comment on it.... :?

Sounds like a "no, I'm not allowed to say" and I sincerely hope it is. Miranda's just not Miranda without Yvonne.

But Yvonne's doing voicework for The 3rd Brithday? Yvonne as Aya Brea?! :o

"are you allowed to say.....?"

"no,...."

What do you need to discuss here? It's a clear answer!

Discuss whether or not that user needs to ask her to specify.

Err...even if you support the 'ME2 Squaddies won't return in ME3', that makes no sense, the squaddies won't disappear just like that, they still have to do some voice acting.

Even if Strahovski wasn't going to do voice acting for ME3, Miranda could still be in the game.

A lot of conclusion jumping in this thread.

not commenting != not voice acting

no Yvonne != no Miranda

I seriously doubt she won't at least have a cameo.

However I stand by my theory that BioWare will make things equal for everybody. So IMO if one LI isn't a squad mate (or have a big similar role), NO LIs are squad mates (no Tali, no Garrus). If one LI is a squad mate, they all are (or at least have a pretty big similar role)

 @Shinobi602 : we already discussed this subject in the Miranda support group. I'm worried too, but I think she's just not allowed to say.

"Are you allowed to say..."

"No"(I´m not)

Problem? She just cant speak about it. Mark Meer also sayed that he is not allowed to discuss anything about ME 3. Does this mean that he wont be in it? C´mon...

I can confirm that I will NOT be doing any voice work in ME3, Bioware aren't restricting me from saying this.

If Bioware are restricting what Yvonne can say, I think that means she's in.

Have you guys ever heard of this?

And to quote myself from another thread:

FieryPhoenix7 wrote...

Mind you, Joker's VA was asked a similar question just last week. His answer was simply "I hope so. Love [t]hat role." Same thing with Thane's VA on Facebook not too long ago, when this one girl asked him and he just said that nobody had contacted him but he would love to do it again.

Point being, nothing to worry about. They're not going to just throw her off like that.

What's more likely if she's not allowed to comment is that they're in the middle of contract negotiations.

i doubt anyone in the VA department knows anything yet - we're still a year away from release.

Actually, even for characters from ME1, they had to sign a contract saying that, through ME3, they would not clarify any details about the game or whether they were taking part in it or not.

This is for every minor and major character. Random person from ME1 that we will never see again? Can't say anything.

All the voice actors will return unless it has been specified specifically that they do not. That is a pretty safe assumption. Atleast imo.

But, what if they use another voice actress? This forum will be up in mutiny.

they wouldn't. I think when you as a VA are contacted by a developer for a project of this magnitude, they will put it in a contract. It has always been clear that this was a big project spanning multiple games.

Yvonne is under a NDA and isn't allowed to confirm anything until Bioware gives the go ahead.

OK,OK, let's assume that she won't be doing any voice acting for ME3, how would that happen.

Even if Miranda is not a squaddie in ME3, there will have to be some voice acting, she can't just disappear like that.
