I heard a lot of people say there were disappointed with the ending of Witch Hunt, but personally I really liked it. The DLC in general had some weak points (such as no new locations, just altered old locations), but the ending was quite nice. If you leave, Morrigan looks all panda-sad. I guess one disappointing thing about this ending is that she says she left something very interesting for you, but we never find out what it is. I might be pissed about that if I were not planning on going with Morrigan anyway. So is that what people meant?
But if you go with her, awesome. And I'm a little surprised Bioware did allow this ending. And very happy, of course.
One question I did have for other people here, though... Morrigan told me that she waited because she felt me approaching (I kept the ring on ever since I got it). ... ... ... Does that mean if you didn't have the ring with you... she's not even there at the end? O.o

Weird. Thanks.
Oh, I did want to mention also... why were all the traps totally undetectable? O.o If any rogue should have been able to see them, it should have been me.

that can happen in Awakenings as well...a pc rogue 'loses' trap detection ability!

I found the ending to be fine on my mage who romanced her. In fact, it left me feeling like that Warden at least had a continued story even if he'll probably never come back from Wonderland, so it also feels like it really closes the book on the character -- which I appreciate.
However, on any of my other characters I find the motivation behind the "Hunt" just isn't there at all.

The disappointment with the ending is that it doesn't really explain anything, about anything.
"I want some answers"
"No"
"Oh, go on. We were friends and all that"
"Tis something you'll have to buy Dragon Age 2 for, then. Your book is over there, along with something you'll find interesting. I mean, I assume so anyway, since there's no way of telling what it is either. Also Flemmeth probably isn't human! So, y'know, watch yourself and all that. Anyway, 'tis time I left."
"Going to tell me where you're going?"
"Nope. Bye!"
FADE TO CREDITS.

Hm...I liked the ending if the Warden was in a relationship with Morrigan; that kind of makes sense.
As for other Wardens...it does depend. I can imagine a Warden who never trusted Morrigan may try and track her down and kill her.
I roleplayed my human noble, who considers Morrigan a friend, so she went off to find Morrigan despite being told she didn't want to be followed (and Dog missed Morrigan as well).
As for other Wardens...I would have to agree that not all of them would have the motivation to track her down. In which case, those Wardens wouldn't go through the events in Witch Hunt (like dead Wardens in Origins shouldn't go through Awakenings).

The majority of my Wardens don't romance Morrigan so the only choice is to walk away from the mirror at the end. Well, what happens to my Wardens after that? The Calling hasn't happened yet. Do they just jump off a cliff never to be heard from again?
I didn't like how abruptly my Wardens just faded away never to be seen nor heard from again.

I find the ending better for my Wardens. I always romance Morrigan and if it was my Warden's final quest then it made sense to me to finish it together with her, in the case he doesn't return again in future games. IF the Warden does return, then I would consider my Warden's time well spent with her and getting ready for the changes in the world.

New companions were garbage, rehash of existing content, and an ending that revealed nothing we didn't already know. Worthless DLC unless your Warden is in love with her and wants to be with her.

oH , Does this happen to others as well? I have not been able understand this non detectection of traps when I have made my rogue take the skills and talent necessary (at least for the level they they are at). The same happens with Leliana's skill especia;;y in the abandoned building in Denerim that you get herded to when you find a diary (Frieds??).caladorne wrote...

I have treied all things like maxing up on attribute points in dex and cunning, THe last has some effect but not all the time.
I also thought that maybe it had to do with my using arcane unlock which mostly works and suits me fine,

The ending to witch hunt was disappointing. It leaves questions unanswered. Also, I wanted to go with her in the portal I just did not have a relationship with her in origins. I did the ritual, though. You don't go to any new locations, either. And you only get two new party members a mage and an elf. The only thing I liked about it was you got to see Morrigan again and get closure, but that's all I liked about it. If you liked Morrigan you should bye the dlc, but for anyone else, you could go without it.
