Thane--because he's nothing but pointless fan service, and doesn't really have an interesting story.

Jacob--because he's boring. Seriously, have a personality.

Zaeed--even though he's badass, he's just...generic.



I could also substitute Tali because I don't care for her character, though I think the quarians will have a big part in ME3. Also Jack, because jeez--hasn't she been through enough already? Just put her out of her misery.

Yes. Yes it does. The motivations are irrelevant. The ends never justify the means. How was it said? "Not at the cost of humanity's soul"? The records of all Cerberus members will be handed over and they will take personal responsibility for their actions. That includes Joker.

EDI. Now there's a tricky subject. As an illegal AI and free willed, does she get recognised as an individual with the associated rights, or simply deleted? Would she go on trial as well? I hope this gets raised in depth in ME3, would make an interesting scenario.

Weeell, I had everyone survive on my playthrough, just so I don't miss out on anything in ME3. But, if I had to pick...

1. Jacob - Why did femshep have to pounce on him everytime they talked, even before the LM. His tone was clipped, personality has little depth. It is nice to have a sane crewmember on board, but it's a game! We like the zany ones!

2. Grunt. He can never match up to Wrex. Nuff said.

3. Miranda. Would be the highest priority to get killed. I don't wanna see your ass. Quit complaining about being perfect, and yet still not being as good as Shepard (face it, Shep kicks ass.) And, for the love of all that is holy, you will not get anywhere near me with a control chip!



I was surprised to see so many people wanting Garrus to be killed? There isn't much Garrus hate and he is a very popular character (he is actually my favourite.)

So, just wondering, why do people want Garrus to get killed?

Personally, I would kill off Thane, Miranda, and Garrus.

Zaeed, an over-the-hill rogue mercenary, never liked him anyways, and he has that "could potentially back-stab you" vibe

Morinth, really nothing there worth saving

Jacob, he seems confused but unwilling to be proactive either, if i had to pick between him and Miranda on any mission i'd always pick Miranda, she at least has leadership qualities, Jacob has no qualities other than an obsession with working out

I always keep everybody alive on all of my playthroughs, but if I had to choose:



1. Thane. He's dying anyway, and if I was on a Shep that didn't romance him, I think he would prefer to go out in a blaze of glory saving as many as he could rather than dying in some hospice.



2. Jack. She's a tragic character and I have deepest sympathies for her and what she went through, but again, unless I'm on a Shep that romanced her, I honestly don't think there's any hope for her having a normal life. Marriage, kids, a quiet life... I just can't see that happening for Jack. I'm certain she's going to die in violence one way or another.



3. Zaeed/Jacob. It's a tie here. I think Zaeed's getting to a stage in his life when he just wants to 'rest', especially if you helped him kill Vido. Like Jack, I doubt that Zaeed would really die in bed; his past is going to catch up to him sooner or later. May as well do it on his own terms.



I actually like Jacob as a 'wingman'. He's solid, reliable and loyal. However, in his own words, he's an "only child and no extended family". I don't think he'll leave too much grief in his wake if he dies.



However, in my Renegade playthroughs, I saved Morinth. She would be my solid first choice to kill off if I had to choose. She's a murderous psychopath! >.>

Miranda-Implanting a control chip into a person, especially someone who gave their life to save the galaxy disgusted my Shepard, and he's a renegade.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Jack-Kills the innocent and destroys things just for the hell of it, killing her is doing the galaxy a favor.And having a hard life doesn't give her a right to be a *****.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Kasumi-Her mission is great but she ruins the dark and serious background with her childish sense of humor.And my shepard hates being called Shep.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Bonus                                                                                                                                                                                                         Jacob- liked him at the cerebus station but on the normandy I have never felt more uncomfortable talking to a video game character in my life, I would rather talk to kaiden than to him.

I used to kill Tali, Samara and Jacob/Thane/Zaeed/Kasumi for giving a dramatic to the suicide mission.

It varies really, Tali always dies, but the others... only Mordin and Jack stays alive every time.

The reason I hate her is because she's totally not a rip off of the character of the same name from Chronicles of Riddick.

1. Jack - She is just the most annyoining character in the game, everything in the world spins around her and she only likes to say how "badass" she is, just die allready



2. Jacob - Sorry pal, eventho he is a decent character and propably the only one in the crew who atleast acts like a soldier, hes useless, doesnt have anykind of specialty area and only thing you can cause is someone else losing his head becose you screwed up



3. This is abit harder one but I quess I have to go with Kasumi - Japanese lovesick girls aint my thing + shes abit too stereotypical Japanese "hero" and I just cant stand for Japanese style of movies,games,comics etc...

If I absolutely have to kill people, I'd off the ones I feel have likely not much of a backstory (or an interesting one) or I don't see much potential going into ME3, so I don't end up losing too much content because they die. For me they would be:
