Answer that question atleast Bioware, since you can manage to answer some other questions but not even respond it seems to the issues affecting game owners the most.

I have been a faithful customer since Never Winter Nights came out, there are untold thousands of us that have been fans ever longer so we deserve atleast a response.  I have not even seen a collective posting on known game issues weither it be for PC, Xbox, or PS3 from Bioware. 

So answer this one question I have, because if there is a solution it will solve mine and countless other's frustration with the remarkable game.

My problem, Stone Prisoner DL like so many others if probably corrupt.  Being able to redownload/reinstall it will most likely fix the issue, but how in the heck am I supposed to do that if I can't even log in through the game because it says I'm not connected to the internet?

I've tried everything short of sacrificing chickens and calling a voodoo priest, since I have no chickens though my cats are getting very nervous.

And I will keep bumping till I get an answer Bioware. I can't log in through the game, address this issue. Fire wall if off, Anti Virus is off and the game still says I'm not connected to the internet!

I am one of the many having this issue, I paid good money for the deluxe and I can't get to my promos, why?

So you were able to login at some point but it hasn't let you recently?

A friend of mine had trouble logging in, ingame. Turned out it was because, for some reason, the router ceased to allow that port traffic. Might try port forwarding in the router, see if that helps at all.

could be user error. its not bioware's fault if your router or firewall or service provider is blocking certain port traffic.

Hmm. more information would be useful. Could you post the log found in users/documents/bioware/dragon age/logs ( if its large it might be better to upload it somewhere. )

Also, is it just affecting DAO?  I've heard some reports that internet connectivity was lost completely when opening the game.

I love when people throw up the "could be user error" line.

It's not user error Ears, nor have any system settings been altered by anyone, nor am I beind a router. I know all about the router DMZ trick, as I mentioned before and I will say it again...I have tried everything.



Connectivity isn't lost.



DAO is the culprit, not I, my pc or my service provider.



I installed on release day, downloaded my content and everything except Stone prisoner worked fine then all of a sudden I can't log in to redownload/install Stone prisoner again.

Could I still see that log file please? Im curious to see if the activation is seeing the internet or not.

This is community tech support. More official channels might be appropriate if you have a beef with Bioware.

Also, have you tried going to Configure via the game launcher and trying out one of the repair options? Clearing the download cache usually resolves any DLC trouble I have.

Here's the log file from start to stop. Serosha....read previous statements, Cache has been cleared, was one of the first things I done. This isn't a download issue, it's a connectivity issue.

Looks like it stopped being able to find offer.xml after the first time you ran the game. Have you reinstalled or do you have another computer in the house to try the account on? Odd that it worked fine that first day and now the error. I'll keep looking into it, but I can't seem to replicate the error short of disabling my internet. Are you running the v1.01?

No I haven't patched due to all the nifty errors people have been having since installing the patch. Have not reinstalled because of the problems reported with that aswell.

I believe those are the two ips that DAO tries to reach to search for the offer.xml and internet connectivity. If you can't ping those then something is amiss. Otherwise Im out of options short of trying to reinstall or running the patch. Otherwise I'd have to suggest taking it up with the EA official tech support.
