According to:

http://kotaku.com/57...e-playstation-3

the interactive comic will only feature six plot choices.

...which is imo a real shame -even for those of us who won't get the PS3 version -because all the other countless choices you made in ME1 are now probably omitted for ME3...or will get the "email-treatment".

Rachni --> Virmire Survivor --> Wrex --> Love Interest --> Council --> Councilor

That about right?

Too many choices would've stretched the thing too long, I guess.

Did you expect that a comic would import all 100+ choices you make?

The rest would be what BioWare perceives as "canon", (which is probably everything good, so they won't want to leave out PS3 players of the good stuff.)

I'll take ME1 over that anyday. I already have enough saves that incorporate different choices in those regards anyway lol.

Well the deafult ME2 with no import is pretty much all renegade (no wrex, no rachni, human council), so I don't know about "good ones".

Would thay care about the "good stuff?"  Me2 default on the 360 (i.e. no import) was not to include the little things.  It would not matter to a PS3 player at all since they did not play ME1 to know what they were missing.  They would not miss the cameo from character X from sidequest Y, thus they would not care.

Unless something from ME1 is also going to be in ME3, I really don't think Bioware will bother including it in ME2.

^ Only because purely Renegade means less confusion when you import.

Considering that our choice of councilor can also be handled in ME2, I think our method of handling with Zhu's Hope is a more likely choice in the comic.

That's actually what I was thinking, Mister. I could see Zhu's Hope replacing the Councilor one, since the latter can be determined in ME2 anyway.

To be fair TC, most of those choices more or less concluded with emails. I highly doubt anything ever would come of Corporal Toombs or the doctor on the Citadel. This does provide some potential for the VS and Wrex having a superior role in ME3 since they can easily be acquired by everyone.

Only 6? Damn, I thought I'd buy that as DLC when available, but only 6 choices is just ridiculous.

Sounds right to me.

Though this will probably mean no call backs like Conrad Verner or Gianni Parasini, at least PS3 owners don't have to delete all that crappy spam-mail.

Canon choice = the middle option, neither Paragon nor Renegade. You don't save Wrex, but you don't punch the reporter, either. It's a bland, boring world where Shepard did as little as possible while still saving the galaxy.

WOW only 6 decisions that is pretty depressing and I kinda expected better of Bioware. I always knew it would be impossible to cover all the decisions in ME 1 but come on just 6 decisions !!!!!!!

I think the smaller things like Toombs, Bhatia, Brind Down the Sky and the like will just be something the PS3 owners have to accept not getting. As has been mentioned, they just give you emails or news reports in ME2. Of course, that's not saying ME3 may not expand on some of those smaller decisions, but whatever.

I say again, the ME story was watered down and "rebooted" to appease Sony.

Scratch out the councillor.

It will probably be in the game itself (during the "memory test") and last only for the length of it, as Udina is being set for councillor in ME3 regardless.

The VS was actually determined by two separate choices, so that will be it, probably.

It is not watered down or rebooted. Go play through ME1 and do no side missions and take no persuasion options. Do not explore anything, just get to the Conduit as fast as possible. That's the comic. That's the basic Shepard story, and that's what the PS3 players and new players who didn't go through ME1 are getting.

Whoops, let me rephraise, I meant all the Paragon decisions, how we would include all the good (Elanos Haliat killed, Helena Blake not becoming a bounty hunter on Omega but rather a social worker, not giving the Shadowbroker the alliance intel Kahoku was after, etc.).

Good as in Paragon, not "juicy".  Posted Image

is it just me or is Bioware trying to deliberately kill ME1? So all the hope that those choices made in the first game having any bigger importance in the last instalment ar now officialy thrown out of the window...thx for ruining great series...

Well that comic looks bad to me anyway but I think the choices are good. It's pretty much all of the vital choices (except for Rachni maybe).

Not as detailled as the original game but it'll do.

They could at least have added Conrad Verner
