I must say I loved the gameplay, I loved that BW wants to put to rest any decriers of the "dumbing down".



The only thing I do not like is the new interface. The diamond icons and the new portrait part system is not to my liking. Its not a dealbreaker, just something to lament.

I...I....LOVE YOU LAIDLAW!! As you promised, we got what we wanted, PC gameplay and new character reveal!!

I must say, I love the PC gameplay, I like how you reassured all the "it's going to be twitch game-play" commenters. I just hope that the tatical side plays out just as well on consoles too.

Also, kudos to that guy who leaked that MEG was called Fenris really early on, she/he was right!!

Good game play demo, should allay some fears and of course generate others. Looked pretty good to me, only slight concern and this is without knowing enough to make a real informed judgment, some of the powers used by the non mage characters seemed, ultra powerful. Hopefully these are not gained too easily and too early.

Also: I am disappointed in the lack of friendly fire to be sure. Am I remembering correctly that FF is off for all difficulties except Nightmare? THat is most unfortunate if true. FF makes encounters much more dynamic, interesting, and challenging.

The elf guy does have a bio in the world section of the web site.

As for the game play, looks JUST LIKE DA:O. Hopefully this will relieve a lot of the fears of the naysayers.

I'm sure someone will come out with  a mod to add FF to every difficulty.

Looking good. I just hope the game's higher difficulty settings are hard enough that the tactical approach is actually necessary and not just a waste of time. Otherwise the combat video made me more optimistic.
