I'll be showing this to some of my friends that don't come to the forums. I hope this finally settles some concerns people have had over the PC gameplay and combat in general. Or at least it will for some people anyway

What happened to the "lol hack & slash"? Doesn't this video prove exactly what we "BDF" have been trying to say?
*sips from his chalice*
So wait, now you actually admit you guys actually do run around defending bioware for the sake of it?

BDF ftw. I'd be a card-carrying member if there were a card of some kind that I could carry.
If being a BDF member means not overreacting and deciding the game will be terrible before even seeing proper gameplay footage etc. then sure sign me up. Do we get free parking and a discount?

I do hope these are the graphics on low, though. They didn't look very high quality. But considering this was a video to display the combat, not the graphics, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just lower graphical settings.

That does sound a little disturbing.JohnEpler wrote...
Glad the video's being well-received! I am now terrified of Mike randomly appearing out of some darkened corner, though.
It was very Tales From the Crypt to me. Though I'm not completely sure why.

Oh, if the devs' coffee comes from our tears then what does BDF coffee come from? I so want to join!
Also, I am convinced Laidlaw is Batman now.

BDF coffee comes from Dave of Canada's sweat glands last I heard.

I suspect he either passed out or is frantically checking the calendar to determine whether it's 2015 or 2020 already.Atakuma wrote...

No. I'm just saying the people who've been labeled "BDF" have been saying this for months but we were labeled as nothing but blind fanboys, idiots who believed Laidlaw's lies and such.
Funny how that changed.

It proves that tactics are optional.
Tactics done on the fly are still tactics. Ask any military commander whose been under fire. You might start with an overall plan in mind, but you have to make allowances for changing situations. Simply put they don't have the opportunity to hit pause and consider how too move everyone around. Some people enjoy playing that way, I'm one such person. I like the pause because it allows me to set things up at the beginning and if necassary take a time out if things get too hairy, or if I wan't to set something spectacular up. Otherwise it's all real time.
Pause is still relatively realistic because if you had 4 actual people with people's brains who had trained to fight together, they would use tactics fairly similar to what pause leads to.

Mike totally gave the vid a Twilight Zone vibe.
Do you think he's trying to spook all those who were demanding the video.
