Ha!  I had a similar thought process of "Isn't this just lovely; come back from another horrid final and SURPRISE: Meg is revealed as none other than Fenris and some fantastic PC gameplay."  Yum.

I had three papers due this week; two were 20 pages each, and the other ended up being 15 pages.  Oh, the joys of grad school

Like Hawke was originally supposed to be. It could be, but the Lyrium connection would seem odd then.

I assumed they used raw lyrium on him... But yeah, high as a kite could work too.

Personally, I would love to see a companion with a degenerative condition caused by Lyrium. Like a heroin addict, degenerative. It would be nice to see consequences, especially with this game's longer timeline.

I wonder how being branded with lyrium affected his connection to the fade, Tranquil are branded on the forehead and have their connection severed, but he is clearly not tranquil, the process obviously did have some mental effect, what with the amnesia and all.

So, who's his voice actor?

We don't know, but we do know David Gaider wanted (and got) a specific voice actor for him, so it's
probably someone at least relatively well-known.

Edit: Now that I look again, he does have a sort of Geralt-vibe going on. I like.

I take a one-day break from lurking on the (formerly known as) Meg-thread and woila I miss the announcement and several thread-lockdowns. I should take a lurking-break more often ^^.

So far I love almost every little detail about him (Am I the only one who thought of Jack from ME2?).
I think the lyrium-lines looks more like tattoos/paint than lyrium burned into his skin.
The "cut-enemy-into-pieces" screenshot made me LOL. I don't know why  And the other one just made me squee and drool.

I agree on the werewolf theory. The name, the "living weapon" and "altering mind and body with lyrium" kind of point in that direction IMO.

Now we just need to hear his voice and a LI-confirmation (please make it so)
