I havent seen any comments saying people are not going to romance him, quite the opposite. True I saw the spoiler and thought "oh my" but i also knew he would think that in a way due to his past, I dont think people were ignorant of it?

I for one can't wait to see how Anders and Fenris get along (or don't). And I am looking forward to romancing him. I imagine that romance will look very different whether you agree with his beliefs (friendship) or disagree (rivalry).

Exciting times indeed.

Yeah, I was gonna say... don't give up on Fenris just yet. I mean, Anders is gonna have his obvious hang ups, too (driving his need to kill Templars is probably not a good thing, just saying). This is what the rivalry system is for, people! Rivalry =/= Hate! At the end of the rivalry line, Gaider said that the companion will come to an agreement with you.

Give us a little slack, how do you think we got to 1000+ pages if there was no baseless speculation going on? 

None of what I've read makes me any less excited for the game or for any of the characters.  I'll reserve judgement until I play, for sure.  It happened to me in Origins where I "knew everything" before I played, but I had a vastly different opinion of things after playing.  Anything typed on this thread (and I assume this for pretty much everyone here) is meant in good, clean fun.

Sorry, Dave, I haven't been on the Anders thread at all so I can't say.  I can't speak for everyone, either.  If people want to be crybabies because they can't vicariously live out their every imagined fantasy, well, okay...let them.  (That's what fanfiction is for). I'm just going to go with the flow, whatever happens.  I know I'm going to love this game. period.    As for his looks, well, *shrug* what did you expect?
