The question is: Do we think Fenris can dance?
*Has very cute picture in head*
For some reason (if anyone saw part one of the movie for HP7), I keep picturing a dance like Bill and Fleur's at their wedding (the fun one where they're linked up like they're doing a traditional dance but are jumping to the side).
But Fen probably doesn't know how to dance unless the Magister who owned him had a sick, twisted thing where he/she tortured Fen and then made him dance.
I was thinking more of something along the lines of the tent scene for Hermione and Harry. I can just see it, Hawke would ask him where he learned to dance and he's say "I didn't" and it'd be awww.
That would be cute as hell too. I think I would d'aw so much if that happened that my neighbors would come over and go: "What's wrong?"
I'm imagining a moment in the game where Fenris might remember learning traditional elven dances from his youth, before he was a slave, but it's only like a physical, muscle memory - he only subconsciously remembers the steps. It's when he dances with Hawke that it all comes back to him. And then they give each other the same looks Emma and Knightley share in that video...

It looks like Anders, and there's some indication in DA:A that Anders may know Isabela.
This is what the holy Dragon Age Wiki said, regarding certain Ser Mage's epilogue:
Holy Dragon Age Wiki Wrote....
Anders will remain with the Grey Wardens to train the Order's next generation of mages. When he is called by the Circle of Magi to deliver a lecture on the nature of the Architect
- much to the templars' dismay - he tells the Commander of the Grey
that his time with the Wardens is over. No longer a part of the Wardens,
the Chantry brands him an apostate, but never captures him. He is last
seen on a pirate ship with a familiar woman.
Now, I am very interested in to see if anyone actually triggered this thing.
Would that be possible if it was Anders who found Fenris?

I can better imagine Fenris and Hawke dancing to something a bit more raw, though. Like this.
But I'm obsessed with Zoe Keating right now, so it may just be me wanting that.

Back on topic: Maybe Fenris stowed away on a ship? He could have arrived in the Kirkwall area over land, but that might be really difficult.

Further credence that it may Anders is that interview where someone from Bioware said that a character from "DA1" (which could mean DA:O or DA:A, or both*) will be a party member in DA2.
*I'd laugh and then cry if it's Oghren again.
No way! It won't be Oghren. Will it?
And do you have the link to that interview handy?
Edit: If he stowed away on a ship, I wonder how long he could stay aboard unnoticed. And if the experiments manipulated his need to eat and sleep regularly.

Isabella in Origins had what looked like the second darkest skin tone you could have in the vanilla game. But when I first met her I thought she was white because of the Pearl's lighting. It was only till later that I discovered her Rivaini-ness.
I'm bemused on what sort of lighting would make Fenris' skin appear yellowed when he's tan and Isabella's skin appear darker than normal, when her skin's darker than Fenris'.

It may be Sten, considering his connection and place with the Qunari. Though I doubt it would be an - initially - friendly encounter. Who knows? If he does show it, the way he acts could depend entirely on how your imported Warden got along with him.

I prefer the sweet and romantic dance and music from Emma for a Hawke/Fenris dance...
But if you want something a little more hardcore, is this dance from The Tudors more to your taste? www.youtube.com/watch
Maybe they can do the sweet dance first, when the romance is just beginning and they're only just realizing their feelings for each other. The other dance can come later... when the romance has become a bit more intimate (and maybe when they're both a little drunk

I remember somebody saying the Developers already stated Sten won't returned. I don't know if this is true or not but they did have a link with the post. I just decided to believe them.

Stowing away isn't hard, there are places people rarely if ever go. Food is a bit harder, there is always some one up on a ship after all, but depending on the weather how many people are up will vary. You'll have someone guarding rations, security will depend on the voyage length, number of stops, etc.
Fenris wouldn't have known where the ship was going likely, but since he ends up in Kirkwall his crew was never in a lot of open water, so he may have been able to sneak food.
...ahem.
