Gah, you PC users (no offense meant of course)!  There's not even a Mac demo..:crying: (discrimination, I say!) Of course, if there was I wouldn't have gotten any schoolwork done this week.

I don't think my Dad's laptop will be able to run it, it requires Windows 7 right?

BIG HONKING SPOILER DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT!!!!

It's Fenris' section in the game guilde:

Though his Lyrium-infused body may initially suggest that he is a brittle ye tpowerful mage, the troubled Fenris is a warrior tailor-made for diving into danger. As a practitioner of the art of wielding two-handed weapons, he’s perhaps better suited as a favored companion during playthroughs in which you choose a less conventional party build.• The events of Bait and Switch should have provided most players with sufficient insight to appreciate that Fenris does not feel comfortable with magic or its practitioners. Though you will find instances where he will accept that mages might,in principle, be suffered if heavily monitored and controlled,he’ll generally object to any action or statement that explicitly favors them or their disputed rights to freedom in Kirkwall. He also disapproves of deals with demons of any kind.• With the rather obvious exception of mages or magical creatures, Fenris appreciates an honorable approach to transactions with the individuals you meet on you radventures. That said, he’s also suitably well-versed in the practicalities of survival: more than any other party member,he understands the verity of the phrase “do or die”.• A tortured soul, Fenris can derive a modicum of solace from physical intimacy… but don’t expect him to respond favorably to declarations of love or need in the short term. As with Isabela, flirting and casual enjoyment will work best if you crave his attention or affections for the immediate future. Dismissive or cruel responses will lead to large rivalrly increases and, most likely, preclude a future entanglementof limbs.

There's moar here: s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu355/StarlitSeas/Dragon%20Age%20II%20Hawke/

I cannot wait for this guy to get his hands on Fenris.  Fenris would have to be insane not to flirt back.

@ Luka: that is one fine peice of Hawke right there.

Gah, I want access to the character creator!  Dumb Mac-hating industry and dumb Apple for not realizing the full potential of video gaming on a computer.

I guess I'll have to draw my Hawke and Fenris eating each other's faces out now, and wait until the 11th or 12th (Foreeeeever to wait....some of you will probably have finished the game by then, lol) to see it fully realized in HD glory.

I literally got home and my sister was like FENRIS SPOILERS, glad there wasnt a big one.

Looking the sides of the contents on the guides are there no character sections like in the DAO guide?

The heart means flirting (though there is no guarantee of success, though the guide led to believe it also has to do with timing and certain situations), a broken heart means you can turns someone down. Hence the socalled "denied" flags, me thinks. Though who in their right mind would deny Fenris or Anders.

Gaah! The more I read about DA2 and the more spoilers we get ahold of, the more excited I get. I am so very curious to see how Fenris is going to react to my mage. And I want to give him some physical comfort!
*cradles in corner* Only one week left, only one week left, only one week left... :crying:

 SPOILER-IFICY

Well from the guide it seems Anders is more the chivalrous, where as "as with Isabela, flirting and casual enjoyment will work best if you crave his (Fenris) attention or affections for the immediate future."

I'm confused now, are we able to romance Fenris on the rivalry side or not, or do we not know? :S

I am going to get very confused, still indecisive about being a mage or not (i dont usually play them anyway) I think me and Fenris will get on apart that i am a mage "sympathizer"

It says in the guide that in order to complete a romance you will have to max out your friendship or rival points with that person (among other things). There is nothing about any specific companions being different, so I'm guessing that, yes, you will.

The only thing I feel like the guide is 'confirming' is that Fenris takes a long time to get into a serious relationship with. If you want a romance with him right off the bat, you have to go for the casual flirting, one night stand thing.

Speculation: I think to achieve a serious, committed relationship with him you'd have to keep working at it. What I'm really curious about is if you can only get to that point if you don't have a casual fling with him early (like what if Fenris never comes to respect and love Hawke if Hawke was too easy to get into bed? :P)

From the looks of it my snarky mage!Hawke and Fenris are going to get along just fine.

Hawke: What was that back there?

Fenris: I was keeping that head of yours attached to your body. You're welcome.

Hawke: I was trying to talk him down, and you went and killed him! He could have known the relic's location!

Fenris: He would have stabbed in the back and you know it.

Hawke: Says you.

Fenris: Well pardon me, we all can't be naive paragons of righteousness who is willing to help out every man, woman, and child who we run into on the street.

Hawke: Then perhaps I should have left you for the hunters when you asked for my help. Maker knows it would have saved me a whole lot of trouble.

I need icecream. I wonder what kind of icecream Fenris would like. And then i'll watch him eat it off a cone.

If they had icecream in Thedas, he could have an icecream thing, like Sten with his cookies.
