How the hell did it get leaked for consoles? *Surprised, as it's usually PC that gets leaked*

Fenris had nothing against Hawke as a person. From what he had seen while in her company, she was a kind woman, and was fair and just in all her decisions. She had accepted him without a second thought, and had graciously given him the time and space needed to get accustomed to living a life not on the run.
But… while she was a mage, with her connection to the Fade, he would not –could not– trust her.
A lot of her magic further instilled in him that he was right in his beliefs: that mages should be stripped of their powers and made tranquil. That way, they’d never be a danger to anyone ever again.
It was for that reason that he was standing at the beginning of a dead-end street, watching eight large and fully-trained Templars back Hawke into the end wall as they tried to capture her. So far, he hadn’t been noticed, and he was content to stand there and watch.
All eight Templars had exerted their will to cleanse the area of magic, leaving Hawke powerless. And, judging by the woman’s expression, this fact was not lost on her. They had the advantage. She was not going to last much longer.
He had seen her fight before, using her staff as some kind of spear or pole weapon. In all honesty, he never thought she was any good at any kind of armed combat, preferring to stand out of harm’s way and blast their enemies with magic.
He had a different opinion of her now.
The moment the Templars had advanced, hoping to press their advantage, Hawke had struck out. She fought with a ferocity that he had never seen in the woman before, the look in her eyes frantic and almost feral.
She waved her staff around at break-neck speeds, using both ends to clobber and lacerate. One Templar got closer to her than the others, and swung his blade downwards, and she quickly leapt away from his attack, copying his move to land her staff-blade on his shoulder, bringing him down slightly, before pulling back and then stabbing at him. There was a screech as metal pierced metal, and the Templar reeled back in shock.
The others learnt from their companion’s mistake and drew back slightly, giving Hawke a little space. However, if they were expecting to lull her into a false sense of security, they were sorely mistaken. She took what space they gave her, flourishing her weapon to drive them further back.
“You… will not… take me!” she screeched hysterically as she gasped for breath. “I will live… and die… free!”
Her words shocked Fenris, though he could not understand why. She had said similar phrases before, the seriousness in her eyes telling him that she spoke the truth. Perhaps it was the fact that he was seeing first-hand that she was willing to die to keep her magic, to remain free of the ‘oppression of the Chantry’ as she and Anders would so often put it.
Or… perhaps it was because her fight echoed his own against Danarius in a way that he hadn’t realised before. And, ever since he had met Hawke, she had helped him in that fight in any way she could.
She had never abandoned him in a fight. She had always stood beside him, regardless of whether she agreed with him or not. She had promised him that she always would…
What the hell am I doing?!
As the Templars started pressing in on Hawke again, Fenris drew his sword and charged. The first two Templars fell before anyone realised that he had joined the battle. By the time everyone had registered his involvement, he was standing protectively in front of Hawke.
It seemed that his appearance was all the Templars had been waiting for, and they came at the two of them in full force. Their eagerness was as idiotic as the mercenaries that Danarius sent after him. And with two dead and one out of the fight, he could handle five opponents easily. He shifted into the Fade to protect himself from the worst of their blows and within minutes, he stood victorious.
“Thank you… Fenris,” Hawke whispered behind him.
Her voice betrayed her sheer exhaustion, and he turned to face her. He saw that she was moments away from collapsing, crumpled around her staff as she was.
He didn’t need to speak, for he found that there was nothing he could really say. Instead, he sheathed his sword and held out his hand to her, knowing that she would take it. And, after a few moments of staring dumbly at him, she took his hand, wavering slightly as she struggled to keep upright. He pried her staff gently from her fingers, understanding that it would be easier for her if she didn’t have to haul it around.
And, without another word spoken, he took her home.

I've been wondered about that myself.
But at any rate, I don't think we should discuss about pirate version of the game. Someone noticed all thread mentioned about this got locked.....

Well, considering that it's 1:15am here, I think I'll go to bed. I'll post part 2 up tomorrow and then I shall say farewell Fen-fans, and start my blackout. Goodnight all.

Spoilers aren't a game ruiner for me, though... especially with RPGs that have all these options and consequences. I think the only time I've ever played a game through knowing nothing about what was going to happen was NWN2 (yeah, the Bishop thing came as a total

Speaking of Fenris, is anyone else as worried as I am about messing up while rivalmancing him with a mage? I really don't want to change Rowena's personality just to suit him, or change my class.
...Which means that I'm probably going to be saving on another file every five minutes XD

Playing as a mage could make things extra complicated, which I am relishing right now.

I hope Anders or Merril gives us a talk, like Wynne/Mordin did xD Fenris could pose dangers in happy-fun time, so our little mage healer clinic-running dude or our adorable Elf keeper might want to let us know if our Hawkes will die or not O_o
I don't see Merrill doing it-- but then it'd be a surprise that'd be funny as hell if she did. Anders on the other hand, I imagine, would constantly be inturrupted by Vengeance throwing in his opinion as well.

The other thing that I wonder if Fenris understands is what being Tranquil truly is. In the 1UP.com demo with Anders we encounter a Tranquil who describes it as "Having all of the color and music in the world being taken away" Tranquility completely destroys an individual's perceptions of the world, rendering them into a husk of their former selves. If all Fenris sees is this being a means to "get back" at the Magister who harmed him I want Hawe to have the abillity to point out that thinking like that makes him no better than the Magister.
To me at least I see Fenris being a strict proponent of the traditional "Magic exists to serve man, and never to rule over him" school of thought that the Templars adhere to. While my Hawke at least believes that it means that Magic exists to help others, but the pursuit of magical power should never be a mage's motivation.
Overall, he'll be an interesting character.
