*jest* After nearly harrassed the hell out of poor EB staff, they still refused to sell me the game today. I had to pick up the game on Friday (BW should be pleased that some of the retailer actually followed the role strickly).

Don't think I am able to play much of the game during the weekend. Now I am seriously consider if I should bring the xBox with me to Melbourne and play it in the hotel room instead of going to see the Grand Prix.

Chris Priestly confirmed there's no auto-attack for consoles a couple hours ago even though they've been telling us for weeks it's in there. Evidently it was some "error in mastering" they were completely unaware of.....so they say. Seems a bit shady to wait until the day before release to admit it.

Auto-attack? You mean my companion will just stand there and watch Hawk do the work?

Always want to ask, how do they release the patches on xBox? I want to see Levyn in Origin for ages and was told it was a bug.

Yeah, no auto-attack means less time to brainlessly stare at our favorite elf. Stupid button mashing distraction!

Edit:  I'm not sure if it applies to companions, but I think it means it acts like the demo on the 360 and Hawke won't do anything unless you press A.  He'll just stand there.  Where in Origins you could select the target and he'd auto-attack while you rotated through companions.

I called Gamestop and they said just for me to show up about 11:30 for final payment. So i'll be hanging around here till then.

Hey guys, is someone going to make a thread on the companion part of the site? I'm not sure if that was created with the intention of having character specific spoiler filled threads there.  Whoever makes it should probably be someone who can update the OP often if it's similar to this one.
