Oh god Fenris. You are so broody and badass but also such a ******! I'm doing a mage playthrough and it's like every other line he's telling me how much he hates me and everything I do. "I respect you" but "mages are awful" but "thanks for helping me on my personal quest" but "you're going to turn into an abomination and someone should put you down." Talk about mixed messages.
Fenris, Fenris, Fenris. You are lucky that you are so incredibly hot.
And then he sleeps with you and pretty much dumps you right after. Ugh. I wanted to slap him.

Lol, I know exactly how you feel! I'm a mage too, I found it easier to just go rival with him but it's confusing cuz I can't tell if we are still together since he ran off after we slept together. If I could walk over and TALK to him like a normal person and not have to wait around for a stupid cutscene, it wouldn't be so bad.

XD Im loving his rivalmance. Every time I got rivalry points with him I was like yesss x3,its fun. Being a mage makes it even better. I was so sad when he seemed to dump me D: but then I was like "Hmph,he'll come back..."

I don't even think you get the option to have him move in with you. That romance book help thing is crap, he dumps you, then you have to wait three years for him to come back!

On the other hand, I love the party banter between him and Anders. Anders totally calls him out on his hypocrisy.

Wow, playing as a mage and choosing Fenris for LI is quite the challenge, but I like it. It's fun not knowing how he will react at times.

can anyone tell me how you get his personal quest? I'm in act 2 and i'm currently just running around doing sidequests. does it come in a letter form or do i need to advance the plot with the qunari or something?

I think you'll all love to hear that I am a mage with Fenris on 100% friendship :innocent: since I am playing a mage that knows mages are dangerous and should be watched over XD

Have you gotten to the end already? Because I read that if you rivalmance him, you'll have to make a rather... unpopular choice in the end to keep him. <_< I'm trying not to be too spoilery here. 
So basically, did he stay in the end and if yes, whose side had you picked? My mage Hawke would really like to know in advance...

OKAY so, like every other Fengirl, I got to the first night together thing in friendship romance, and then he rolled out in a terrified rage/flustered mess and I just wanted confirmation that I DID NOT, in fact, ruin the romance by doing this!

And also, if you don't sleep with him then, what happens? Locked out of future romancing? What?

And also, FENRIS IS AS WONDERFUL AS I HAD EVER HOPED.

May  I ask when you got to sleep with him? I'm in Act 2 and just finished the convo with him about his past but he's yet to show up at my house at night.

My Hawke is anti-mages because of huge daddy issues. It's ridiculously easy if you are.

Yeah, the trick to Fenris is just value his freedom, side against slavers, and believe mages should be supervised. I had him to +100 friendship before the end of Act 1.

I had to make that horrible choice for Fenris aswell... been sympathizing with Mages ( so he was Rivalmanced) so the choice was very hard. It's worth it though cause Fenris is the sexiest thing in the game His feet make me go crazy lol

If a Rival you really have to make that choice I think  I was playing as a Warrior so it was a okay choice still was brutal cause I like the mages. Fenris is worth it though

You know, Fenris may act like a ****** the whole game towards mages, but he was totally right. He didn't need to be such a dick about it but every single mage I met was demon crazy or a blood mage. And by the end, I wanted to kick mages in the ass the same amount I wanted to kick templars in the ass.

And if you want to know, yes, he'll get back with you in Act 3 after walking out on you. He realizes how stupid he was and asks for forgiveness.

And I was 100% friendship with both Anders and Fenris, so it's still possible to support mages and be friends with him. He will stay with you if you are friends and support the mages. I don't think rivals work out that way though, but you might feel different about mages by the end of the story anyway.
