For those having problems with the sex scene in Act2.
I played around a little with DA2 console(it's cheating, I know), and it seems to me there are two possible situations:
1. You have completed "Bitter Pill" quest, initiated romance before, friendship/rivalry is >50% and Hawke isn't romancing some other character at the time(I had to remove "active" flag for Isabela's romance and only after that it worked).
And probably only partly completed "Questioning Beliefs" (at least, that worked for me), Fenris hasn't told you yet about his escape.
In this case you get the glowing scene where Fenris pins Hawke to the wall.
Also, I wonder what qualifies as setting off another romance flag? I've been studiously avoiding those options with Anders and the chicks, but I carelessly clicked on a heart option for Aveline (just being nice, you know

Fenris visited me for sexy sexy time some time after his personal quest in act 2, he ran off after I finished that quest but then I went back to my mansion like 2 quests later and he was there and the romance scene progessed.
Aww, Fenris didn't like it when Zevran came on to me. LMAO.
Oh, that was so funny. Finally, my romance acts jealous! I love that.
I also realized something that might make you guys happy. Unless I'm mistaken, Fenris can't die in this game. You can give him back to Denarius or he'll just leave the party. So that's good news for further sequels right?

Yes, I read enough spoilers to know that that's possible.BPearl12 wrote...
Does anyone know if it was possible to get Fenris to move in with you? Apparently it is with other companions.

Also, I wonder what qualifies as setting off another romance flag? I've been studiously avoiding those options with Anders and the chicks, but I carelessly clicked on a heart option for Aveline (just being nice, you know). Since she's not an LI, I hope that doesn't mess things up.
He's not a fan of negotiating with people. He just wants to kill right away. I'll have to look in my guide for specific quests.

I've just tried choosing "diplomatic" ending for his first dialogue(about Hadriana) - "you are no burden" or something like that (but I still said "I was worried about you" part in the beginning), then came to his mansion, finished the "Questioning Beliefs" quest (flirted whenever possible), gave him a book, then returned to the estate and he was there.
No console this time.

Maaan, that is exactly what I did! I hope it's not glitching out on me or something. Thanks so much for taking the time to go into detail about this, though, I appreciate it.

My PC isn't much for negotiating either, but that's the problem I guess. I'm trying to keep him on the rivalry path and they're too much alike except for helping mages. So he ends up just apathetic about her. <_<yoshibb wrote...

I have the guide, I've just been avoiding it because I'd like a few surprises. But that's the trouble, without spoilers you can fubar things and not know you're doing it. Thing is, I'm finding the same problem on everyone. The only one I've gotten anywhere with is Varric friendship. The others are all over the map and consequently nowhere.

Hmm..
Did you get the "But..."(heart option) ending of the last "questioning beliefs" dialogue?

Hmmm... I'm not actually sure, to be honest! I picked a heart option whenever possible, though... I'm intending to go redo it from the end of the Bitter Pill quest just to see if there's anything I can do differently, so I'll report back after I do that. (and uh, have a shower maybe I guess. Personal hygiene, pffffff)

I also got the glowing pinned up against the wall scene, but I still haven't had the scene where you get to ask him to move in. Anyone got any advice?

I broke down and read some of the guide. If you put him off for finding Hadriana, then travel in Kirkwall with him in the party, you get attacked again and he gets angry that you let it happen. You have to agree to go with him right then or he'll leave the party. I'm going to backtrack and try that to see if it bumps up the rivalry. But I agree that I probably should have gone for more rivalry points with him straight off in Act 1. I doubt I'll ever get to 100 until I side with the mages, and then I'm pretty sure it'll be curtains. Ah, ill-fated love.senorfuzzylips wrote...
I'm also going for the rivalmance, but as some others have mentioned, it seems hard to get rivalry points in Act 2. I'm a bit over 50% rivalry, but I'm having a hard time getting to 100%. I got some friendship points in Act 1 which seem to have made things difficult.

Dang it!! I don't remember ever getting this option. Oh well, we ended up together in the end anyway. If he agreed to live with you did you get any extra dialogue or scenes? Or did he just stand around?

Did you get the scene with them kissing and then in bed or not? Did you pass over any of the heart options because I always chose them. Maybe we're all getting the scene too early?

I was wrong. Well, he is kind of emo, but he's easily the best-looking male NPC in the game, and sweet Maker, his voice....!
I just hope I can romance him with a mage successfully. Looks like it's possible. *crosses fingers*

I'm not too far past that, so I'll backtrack and give that a try. I got friendship points during that initial attack, so maybe I'll pick different dialogue options to avoid them.
For people that know about your LI moving in with you... in which act is it supposed to occur? The second or third?

Everytime a Qunari mission popped up, Fenris would be there just in case.
